The bakehouse is a real old fashioned family restaurant. The staff are lovely, the food is gorgeous and the menu is extensive. It's also cheap as chips. Excellent value for money

Everything you'd want from a full english, with tea and toast for £5.50. Worth the trip to Morpeth alone.

Although you may easily walk past the side alley for this.. It's worth looking for. A very we'll run cafe with friendly and attentive staff. Delicious home cooked food.. especially the puddings. Not given full stars as a little more expensive in comparison to others and sandwiches not that great.

We called in for a brunch and decided on the Full English. What a fantastic meal it was with two eggs, 2 bacon, two sausages, beans mushrooms and toast. A brilliant start to the day at a very reasonable price. The staff are always welcoming and cheerful. Well worth a visit if you are in Morpeth.

Found the place by accident when visiting Morpeth. Really good food, served promptly and with a smile. The prices are very reasonable. A full meal for the price of a cardboard sandwich from a coffee chain. Deserves to succeed. Thank you. ☺
