Had the most tasty mushroom soup and scone in a friendly and cosy environment. If only I had had enough room to sample the gorgeous home made cakes! Well worth a visit, I'll be back.

We visited this cafe after reading the reviews here. I have to say that the cafe lived up to its reputation with ease. I had the cafe sandwich and my wife a baked potato both were fresh and tasty. Usually there is one part of the male that doesn't live up to the other parts but not here. Highly recommended

Thank goodness for this cute little place! I neeed a good Italian coffee and this place is the only one inMorpeth with a decent brand; illy. The outside was my haunt as the inside is airtlw "miss Marple" for my taste. Scrambled eggs and BEST bacon in town!

This place is always wonderful, and the courtyard could not be better. Home made cakes, not bought in are perfect. Keep up,the good work!

Cafe des Amis serves up regular tearoom fare: jackets, quiches, sandwiches, and some really lovely cakes, which are mouth-wateringly displayed. The cozy front seating area is perfect for a coffee and a good book, and the back area seating is charming. The staff are prompt and friendly. I recommend the sconewich.

Very nice cafe, love the scones and cakes, nice atmosphere, quite small but I have always got a seat and the outside area at the back is covered so you can still sit outside when it's raining, it is probably one of the best in independent cafes in Morpeth

I live and work in Morpeth and I have a take away soup and cheese scone nearly everyday throughout the winter. In the summer I usually go for sandwiches. I have yet to have something which hasn't been delicious! The staff are so lovely, and with the additional outdoor seating in the covered garden (heated in the winter) it's just... More

The small front belies a much larger interior with conservatory seating available. Menu is what you'd expect from a tea room cafe, jackets, toasties, sandwiches, cakes, quiches, soups. Food was good quality, though service was a little slow, but polite. Not the cheapest place to eat in Morpeth, but not the dearest either. Clean and tidy inside, top rating from... More
