Always welcomed in by Andy - the owner, or his staff. Good selection of locally sourced food, good wine, local ale and a pleasant atmosphere. The homemade Banoffee pie is worth leaving room for!!

After being recommended this restaurant and reading the reviews on here, mostly pretty glowing, I fail to see the attraction. The Junction looks quite impressive from the outside but we were a little disappointed on entering; as some have said, it's more like a 'quite nice' cafe. The proprietor was friendly and helpful as were his staff but that failed... More

Have been to the Junction many times before travelling from Gateshead each time to enjoy a fantastic meal with family. This time there was the new carvery for Sunday Lunch, superbly cooked meats with the addition of choosing tasty veg and potatoes to accompany, this is a welcome addition and once again a big Thank You to all the staff,... My husband and I visited here today for the carvery. It was lovely, very reasonable and most importantly everything was hot and tasted good, no tepid, overcooked and tasteless vegetables that you often find in other places. Will definitely return for this.

Had a perfectly nice meal in the Junction after being recommended to visit by our hosts at the excellent Lyne-Brook House B & B. We only had one course so can't comment on starters and desserts, but what we had was very tasty and the service was good. Would return

Dined here with friends who live locally. The Sunday roast was exceptional value and a huge portion. Everything was piping hot and extra gravy was provided with no issues. Lovely meal.

We ate here for lunch on Saturday and were hugely impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. The Thai curry was one of the best I have tasted, lovely consistency with tender chicken and a nice spicy sauce, delicious. The other dishes were equally as good including the beer battered black pudding where the Stilton dressing on the... More

We were staying at Creswell and wanted somewhere special to eat. we found it here at The Junction. They have a lovely choice of food but I just fancied a burger and I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious. Tasty and real

Good quality food, very nicely cooked. Service was fine. Very friendly. Perhaps a little chilly on the night we were in. Parking is a bit tricky.
