Valentines day

Came here for valentines day. The food was very nice and the atmosphere was nice. I liked it that they did a good deal for Valentine's Day. The bar staff were ok.. I think Andy the owner has turned this into a really nice resturaunt and it's very classy, you can tell the effort which has been... read more

We decided to give the junction a try one random Tuesday night, glad to say it was a good decision. Myself and 2 friends sat down to an amazing 3 course meal on the 10th of February. We were greeted by friendly members of staff who immediately took our coats and showed us to a table. The drinks order was... More

A revisit to the Junction after I heard there had been a change in the menu along with an adjustment in the prices as well. I'm glad to say I was not disappointed as I left the first time thinking everything was overpriced and a bit pretentious, not somewhere you would make a regular visit to. This time the prices... Went to the Junction for my sister's birthday, décor very nice, trendy and restaurant was spotless, waitresses were attentive and pleasant. There were 6 of us and our table was booked for 2pm. Not all of us had a starter but we waited at least 45mins for them to arrive. We then waited at least another hour for our main... More

Passed this lovely looking restaurant a few times and today decided to stop. Wished I'd drove past. Took and hour to get a bowl of soup and tuna sandwich. I've had better cuppa soups. Sandwich had been under a warming lamp. Partner ordered panini which wasn't great. Couple of big tables in 1 waitress who couldn't cope. Not her fault.... More

Dear Wayne, Many thanks for your somewhat positive review as I was watching from the side lines and thought the entire service was carnage. To discover thereafter that your food was not as good as a cuppa soup and your cold sandwich simply wasn’t is not acceptable. This was our first day of Saturday service using our new menu of... We have been to this lovely resturant a few times but on this occasion was a little dissapointed. I am aware that they have recently change management and had a refurbishment which is lovely, but when we read the menu there was little to choose from and quite expensive. We were told the menu will change shortly and hopefully it... More

Dear Sir/Madam I am delighted you enjoyed the new refurbished Junction & Sidings Bar. It was such a shame that you felt the menu was high priced and limited, as the quality and indeed portion size were considerable and outstanding. This aside we have listened to our clienteles requirements and adapted the menu to suit. It would be delightful to... More
