Six members of the family went for lunch to celebrate the wedding anniversary of my wife & I. Having made a booking a couple of weeks earlier, we were immediately shown to our table in the conservatory. Unfortunately the weather outside was wet & cold and there was a bit of a draft which could be felt by whoever was... More

Wow. What an amazing place. Decor is modern yet traditional. Service is very high quality. Food is delicious. I can heartily recommend haggis scotch eggs, halibut with mussels and sticky toffee pud. Food tasted exquisite. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is price - expensive: but you get what you pay for!!

My sister, my mother, myself and children spent a rare day off visiting Heighley Gate then The Northumberland Arms for lunch. We grew up close to Felton so it was nice to see how things have improved and we also eat regularly at The Percy Arms and we've visited The Running Fox. Perhaps this set the tone and our expectations... More

Dropped in just for the ambience. Had a couple of pints of local ale, which are absolutely excellently kept. No tables available this time, sigh! Will have to book next time.

Popped along with friend to Felton as a late Christmas treat. Had a wander around Gallery 45, and a look at fabulous glasswork by Helen Grierson. Then to Northumberland Arms for lunch! Luckily I had booked as very busy ... which says a lot! Shown to lovely table in dining room and very pleasant waitress took our order ....after some... More

Visited for lunch with my mum and my dog. Staff very extremely helpful and friendly, immediately bringing the dog his own bowl of water, and serving us at the table, even for first drinks. The meals were delicious. My burger was obviously home made, and mum's fish and chips were lovely with nice crisp batter. Not the cheapest of lunches... More
