Popped in on a recent trip to Alnwick for hot chocolate on a cold day. Cafe itself appeared fine, and everything seemed in order. We were more than satisfied with our drinks, and thought they were reasonably priced. Can't comment on the food as we didn't sample any, but must say, the cakes looked really good.

Extremely filthy throughout. Lots of clutter everywhere that was also very, very dirty and dusty. Disgusting toilets. The whole place is in need of a massive deep clean. Dirty crockery on most tables when staff stood about doing nothing. Had to ask for our table to be wiped as had not previously been done. Wiped with a cold dirty cloth.... More

Visited twice and had coffee and teacake and then a nice cream tea second time. Liked them both and good friendly place with efficient service

Ate here twice, especially because of the coffee. Had a salad once, a pastry once, both were fast, fresh, very tasty. Highly recommended.

We come to Bailey's every time we are on holiday in Northumberland and we are never disappointed. It's always very busy and sometimes difficult to get a table but it is worth the wait. Try the afternoon tea s or just the sandwich and fruit scone. They are delicious. Got to know the staff and they are friendly and most... More

Our first visit to this place and we were very impressed. The menu was very varied and all the food looked lovely. We had a coffee and cake deal for £2.85 and it was very nice. Lovely coffee and home made carrot cake, yummy! Will try lunch there next time.

Wanting a bite to eat before heading to Alnwick castle, this place was handily located. Our family ordered a sausage butty, ham & cheese toastie & a kids lunch box. All were tasty, although the sausages were cheap (sometimes, that's just what you want tho!), service was swift. Including drinks it was £16. No cards, just cash, which for a... More

More overpriced than London. Nice Selection but £6.30 for a tuna toastie and a coke is gob-smacking. They also expect you to carry a fat wallet as they don't accept cards. Go to Greggs across the road.

Popped in here today and it had a very unpleasant odour. The whole place looked a bit rundown and dirty, no staff member greeted us. my sister was going to sit on a brown leather sofa that to be honest looked like it should have been on a tip. I have been in here before and the food was just... More
