If you want somewhere you can drink your favourite tea and read your favourite book this is the place for you. Staff are very friendly and I felt I could just take my time.

We visited Bari Tea just this afternoon for the first time and found a pleasant, charming atmosphere waiting for us. We had the soup, which was perfectly steamy and tasty and a pot of tea to share. I feel that people who love a good cuppa would thoroughly enjoy what's on offer and would appreciate the owners vision the shop.... More

We visited here based on TA reviews and it certainly lived up to the glowing reviews. The atmosphere is relaxing, the tea of the highest quality and backed up with some very tasty soup. The owner was friendly and hospitable, and really deserves the success she has made of this place. Next time we're in town, we'll definitely pop in... More

I would find it hard to love this place more. The staff are amazingly friendly, the cakes are delicious (with special mention to the knobbly, ultra-fresh scones!) and the tea is an experience. The extra-strong Kenyan was my favourite, but there are so many to choose from. This is a truly special place in a lovely town, and I can't... More

I visited Bari tea today as I was looking for some where quiet and cosy. I had crumpets and Cream Earl Grey tea which was on the tea festival menu. There was only one lady serving and while it was quiet there were 4 other tables all to be served at the same time and I have to say the... More

Specialty tea served as tea should be and hot chocolate with a true bite. My colleagues said the scones were among the best ever.

I had planned on visiting Bari Tea since it's opening, however, I never seemed to get around to it. A very good friend and I went one day for a catch-up and I must say the place is absolutely gorgeous inside, the selection of teas is so varied that there's no way we could possibly try them all. The tea... More

I read about this tea cafe on Trip Advisor and wanted to give my wife a nice afternoon in Alnwick. When we first arrived around 11.45 the shop was empty and we almost went elsewhere however we decided to try again after 12 and it was definatlely the right decision. A most pleasant welcome and great assistance to select a... More

We visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. The welcome was lovely, the range and knowledge of tea amazing and the scones were some of the best we have ever had. Modern, bright decor and a must visit for tea if you're in the area.
