So pleased we came across this cracking little place. We had the soup of which there were two choices, served with chunks of both brown and white fresh bread followed by one of their homemade scones with jam and cream. Both were absolutely delicious. It was a very warm day so we decided against drinking tea but they have an... More

Clean pleasant little shop. Just perfect to drop in while you wait for rain to ease. Very good choice of teas. Quick friendly staff. Russian caravan with cheese & mustard scone.- yummy. Shame it's not on my doorstep

We received a lovely warm welcome, even with a baby and buggy. There is a large selection of speciality teas to choose from, they come with a timer and a huge pot which easily holds 3 cups. We also had the soup which was delicious and the scones are huge and scummy. This is a delightful tea room which we... More

We found Bari Tea almost at the end of our week near Alnwick - shame we didn't spot it earlier. It has a delightful and quirky character and really specialises in teas - most of which they blend themselves. The food is good too and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. highly recommended.

I came here with my wife during the last day of our Northumberland honeymoon as we both love our teas. The selection was fantastic. My wife had a type of oolong while I had the smokey, whisky like Russian Caravan (which I also bought from the shop after). We were recommended to go by someone else who loved it and... More

Had a really nice cup of tea in here with my wife this afternoon, only downside was finding it a little late, could have spent a pleasant hour or two here. Highly recommend it for tea lovers.

I visited this tea house with my partner and friend whilst visiting Northumberland recently having found it highly recommended on Tripadvisor and it most certainly did not disappoint. As a big tea fan this was a wonderful experience. There was a huge variety of tea available and the extensive menu offered a clear description of each tea, along with small... More

We wandered into Bari Tea quite by chance and asked for coffee since our experience of ordering tea previously had been the typical low quality tea bag variety. The very pleasant assistant said that they only served filter coffee since their speciality was tea. We decided to try a Glendale tea and a Darjeeling both of which came in a... More

Whilst on holiday in Alnwick we came across this tea room and cafe and what a good thing we did. The lady was so helpful and knowledgeable about the various teas and the cakes were delicious and all homemade. The soups looked delicious especially combined with the amazing variety of cheese scones and the place was obviously frequented by regular... More
