We visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. The welcome was lovely, the range and knowledge of tea amazing and the scones were some of the best we have ever had. Modern, bright decor and a must visit for tea if you're in the area.

We'd never tried the Bari T teahouse before, so took a punt one mid-morning. And a great experience it was. The owner had an excellent knowledge of the huge varieties of tea available, and we shared a lovely pot of Oolong - which we'd never tried before. The ambience was pleasant and the service equally excellent. Highly recommended.

We regularly drop in on a Saturday for tea and scones, friendly service, excellent tea with delicious scones and cakes make this a regular refuge from the hustle and bustle of a busy weekend. Loved the Godzilla theme to go with the Japanese tea week.

Great tea, tasty, home cooked grub and service with a smile. Really enjoyed our visit and took some tea home too.

What a find, Wander a very short stroll away from the main market square down Narrowgate and you find Bari Tea. Bari means lovely and it really is. Its modern and airy, serves an extensive menu of loose teas, expertly brewed and a small food menu with a very tasty and very reasonably priced soup and scone offer. The homemade... More

On a day trip to alnwick I had seen bari on TA and so made a plan to visit, fortunately I checked with them on our way to the castle about closing time and was surprised to find it was 4:00 with last orders at 3:30. Anyway, after visiting the castle we got there about 3:20, a bit earlier than... More

Really nice place that we stumbled across before looking at Tripadvisor!! Ambiance just right with such welcoming staff. Calling in for a wonderful courgette and coriander soup, we also had tea, of course! Nicely laid out with local mags and papers. Nice selection for a light lunch or indulge in wonderful cakes

On our weekend trip to Northumberland my friend and I visited Alnwick for a couple of hours. Whilst walking around this beautiful town my friend and I fancied a brew. We eventually stumbled across Bari. I normally only drink English breakfast when out and about as most people don't know how to make authentic green tea to bring out it's... More
