I have been to Bari Tea a couple of times before for a cuppa (The white earl grey tea is amazing), but yesterday went for lunch with family. I have very particular dietary requirements and had to ring up beforehand to ask what the soup was, etc. When I arrived I was given a delicious home made soup with two... More

We came here for tea and cake. My other half is usually a coffee drinker but we shared a pot of breakfast tea and it was so nice we bought some to take home. The teapot came with a timer to tell us when it was brewed. The cake was very yummy too.

This little place is a fantastic addition to Alnwick. The food on offer is really interesting and extremely tasty. They have both savoury and sweet. The tea menu is amazing - they really take their tea seriously! I stayed in Alnwick for two nights and ate here twice! It is a must if you are in Alnwick.

This gem of a tea room is one where you won't be overcome with coffee fumes (although filter coffee is on offer if you want it) and instead you'll be able to sample the aroma of one of over 30 types of tea and (if you want to) be advised as to which might best suit your palate. Your selected... More

on a cold Easter Sunday, the Bari Tea shop restored our faith in quality, great service and the value of serving customers. All that was open elsewhere was the usual high street coffee shops and we almost missed out on finding Bari as it is a few hundred yards from the town centre; walk a little and find this lovely... My partner and I were in Alnwick to visit the Alnwick Gardens, and whilst we like the gardens, the food and drink there tends to be a little on the expensive/ average side, so we were looking for somewhere else to grab a tea and a cake. We had noticed Bari Tea earlier in the day, and that it looked... More

I'm more of a coffee drinker but my partner loves a cup of Earl Grey. Besides, the promise of a scone and jam was irresistible! We were welcomed in and given menus which explained the various flavours, where the tea was from, etc. I decided to take the plunge and went for Lovers Leap tea. For this first foray into... More

Visited based on TA reviews, with baby in tow. Staff friendly, accommodating and helpful. Tea range is good and the Oolongs are excellent. Carrot and walnut cake is awesome. Highly recommend.

Whilst in the Alnwick area, a friend of mine said i must visit Bari Tea in Alnwick Well, they were right. The home made tomato soup was beautifully tasty and the 'wodge' of locally baked bread is spot on. Tea selection is vast and the home made fruit scone with cream and jam was delightful. keen prices too, miss this... More
