Cheap and cheerful Italian cafe in Alnwick. Great place to get fed for not a lot of money. Service is friendly, although can be understaffed and might occasionally take a little too long to get your drink, or some such thing (might be just one server for the whole place). My fiancé and I were starving and started with an... More

Visited this establishment around 17.00 today 20th November 2014. Great welcome from a young lady at the counter. I asked about the types of Pizzas and she suggested the vegetarian option and so we created a bespoke pizza, which took about 20 minutes. Definitely worth waiting for. We are in Alnwick for 5 days from London and I can tell you... More

What a great place. Unpretentious. Good, uncomplicated food. Excellent value. Really friendly service....especially from the Polish-Italian lass. We'd read a TA review where they stormed out after so-called abuse from the chef and waitress. I'm so glad we ignored it...our last night in Alnwick and we couldn't have picked a better place. Just be aware that you can't book, so... More

You can't reserve a table here so we were delighted to walk in and a lovely table in the window be empty for us. The menu is extensive and the portions very generous. We both had starters, garlic bread and a pizza each. A bottle of house wine and a beer. All for under £40. The young lady who served... More

Six of us visited for lunch. One other table of 4 eating and people sat in the window ordering coffee. Waited between 20-30mins for waitress to come and take order, not even any acknowledgement we were there. Husband walked up to bar to place order and waitress said would come over. Chef came into restaurant followed my husband to the... More

Two courses, one drink for two people at £30. Large portions and couldn't finish main course - would definitely return.

We were regulars at this eatery from the day it opened, however we had not been for over a year, sorry to say it has deteriorated, smaller portions not up to their old high standards. They have opened a new venture in Berwick as well as taking over another eatery in Berwick. It appears that their energies are being aimed... More
