The food was , well, pub grub. OK. The seating was carefully arranged in a wind tunnel. I felt uncomfortable on the visit, strange non Feng Shui with the table arrangement. I liked it when we left. Price of the meal was not worth the experience. I would only recommend it to someone I wasn't going to see again.

Came here for Sunday lunch, had a main and a dessert which were both lovely and didn't have to wait too long to be served. However the staff were a total let down to the place, they didn't smile at all and came across as rude and as though they couldn't be bothered.

Myself and my Husband visited Blackmore's for their special valentines menu. When we arrived the table was laid out with a vase of flowers, table confetti and a rose for the lady. We both ordered the asparagus soup which was delicious and then I ordered chicken and my Husband ordered Pheasant. When they arrived they looked practically the same which... More

Sometime good, sometimes poor - you take your chances. The pub below can get lively - a young people's place.

have been a few times for a meal, have found the food pretty average, unless Johney the chef's on, then it's excellent

This establishment has recently changed names and has reverted to being The Plough. I took my kids for lunch today. My daughter was 18 today so it was a birthday treat. I order the crab and prawn tian. It was not good. I think the crab is crabsticks. It was wet messy food. My daughter had the garlic mushrooms which... More

Thanks to Clair and the other staff for working so hard to ensure that our big day went off without any problems. The food was fantastic and the service top class. A big thank you from Susan and Andy

Chicken was tough and the fish batter was inedible. We had previously been here 2 years ago and found it good, but standards have gone very much down hill since then.
