I still tend to visit Little Chef's on my long drives - rather than the petrol station cafes or fast food outlets. This choice is not just sentimentality, I actually prefer the wider range of choices on the Little Chef menu to burgers & fried chicken. Most Little Chefs are now rather jaded, their staff can have a rather weary,... More

like stepping back in time really. You almost can't believe these dinners still exist. This is one of the nicest complete with the little gift shop area. Staff were friendly and the food was great, exactly as advertised. A great please to chill out a read the news.

I must confess I thought Little Chef had gone bust, so seeing one open around lunchtime when we were travelling north we decided to stop. I suspect this one has been preserved as a living museum, it has the same chairs, carpet and tables that would have been put in when it was all shiny and new, but as with... More

I was staying at the travelodge so it was convenient to eat there. The food was okay, good value and plenty of it. Staff very friendly and they even gave me a 25 per cent voucher because I was staying at the Travelodge. The only problem was there was a terrible smell on the car park, not sure if it... More

I visited the Little Chief the beginning of August with my Husband and Mother-in law on our way to Yorkshire. The food was hot and very good, but I had to send a complaint to the company on returning from our holiday. On arriving at the restaurant the table had been washed down with bleach (which was very strong), we asked... More

I was staying at the Travelodge next door and popped in for breakfast at about 11am, opting for the 'Early Starter'. The food was perfectly acceptable - good roadside cafe standard - and the coffee fresh but I was disappointed that they had no lactose-free or soya milk to go with it. When I asked why I was told they... More

We visited the little chef towcester east this morning on the way back from Luton airport. I remember little chef from when I was young as being ok but this was dreadful . We entered to an empty freezing restaurant that looked like it should be pulled down and re bullt, stained worn carpets, ripped chairs, tiles falling off the... More

We ate here as we were staying at the Travelodge which is next door. It was as you would expect fro a Little Chef, clean, tidy and the staff were friendly enough. I would eat there again.

The Little Chef in Bicester was crammed full so we motored on to the Little Chef at Towcester - which was around 15% full. As Groucho says, it is seriously dilapidated. The owners could fix that easily and it is a discredit to them not to have done sor or announced plans to that effect. Staff were friendly and tried... More
