Me and misses have been here a few times now, it's great if you fancy a little snack or drink looking out over the fields. Have seen the afternoon teas but keep forgetting to pre book them (will have one of these days) highly recommend

We visited on a Sunday lunch in December as a birthday treat and we were not disappointed. Food was amazing. I had a small plate roast dinner which was more than enough. Desserts were also healthy size portions. Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. Will definitely visit here again. It's a hidden gem.

I've been here several times and like the ethos of the place, nothing pretentious, just good food, well served and presented and reasonable priced. Its really nice to sit outside in the better weather and look over the fields whilst enjoying good and wholesome fare. Well done Alex and her staff!

Exceeded expectations but over pricing let it down and lack of comfortable seating. Also staff were not that pleasant. Lots of parking and easy to find, food was home cooked and lovely. Attached is a antique shop and veg stall alongside shed and paving sales. It did get very busy we arrived at 11am and it was empty but by... More

We both had the full English breakfast which was cooked to order with good quality ingredients. Was presented very nicely, came piping hot and tasted as good as it looked. You are offered a choice of fried or scrambled eggs but when I enquired if I could have poached (there's poached eggs on toast on the menu) I was told... More

Dear Mon36 We are very happy you enjoyed our Full English as we made the decision to always cook it to order and although it takes a little longer feel it is fully justified by reviews like yours, so thank you. We will make sure that Poached Eggs are available to all those wanting them and that our staff are... More

I know a few people who had been previously put off by the breakfast here only being sold at breakfast time - as the banner on the roundabout still states - remember "Falling Down"? I am not sure that the customer service here is quite John Lewis standard however the venue and the quality of the breakfast certainly make up... More

5 of us ate here last week, as it was convenient meeting place for those of us travelling along the A14. The place was full and there was a short queue which we joined. We were shown to a table after 10 minutes. The lunch menu was good, and the service good and cheerful. The food was very good, We... More

Just been for lunch. While the food is good, the menu is very limited and the waiting times are long. That said, its a nice environment with lovely country views, bookings are not taken other than on a Sunday. Would I go again, yes, would it be my first choice, no. A pleasant little tea room which is OK.
