A Little 'Gem' Of A Place !

Visited Robin Hood Bay 14.08.14, had a walk about, up and down and through 'Ginnels, side streets, exploring the secrets of the side streets. Came across a view point over the beach and the views of the cliffs on the right and left are fantastic, we thought, the next time we are in Robin Hoods Bay... read more

This is a lovely little shop serving freshly cooked, tasty fish and chips, there is an upstairs restaurant although we have only had take away so far. Give it a go!

Great large piece of fish in very crispy batter. Good portion of chips but was let down by not draining the food before it was served. A little too much fat in the tray. Otherwise very good.

Visited Robin Hoods Bay and hoped for a nice portion of chips whilst sat on beach. But sadly very disappointed . The chips were soggy some were black inside, even our dog spat them out!!!. I do think RobinHoods Bay would really value a good quality chip shop there is no excuse for sub standard chips. It's not rocket science!

The Yorkshire Moors tourist office really talked this place up but it was disappointing. Chips weren't nice and fish was battered in beef dripping (or so it tasted) and that was a bit overpowering. A bit greasy too. Not worth the long walk down (and up) the hill.

Cracking fish and chips. Big, meaty fish. Nice crisp batter. Fantastic fluffy chips. A must visit if you're coming to Robin Hoods Bay.

Had a lovely day today in Robin Hood's Bay perfect weather perfect Fish and Chips! The staff here at Mariondale Fisheries are really nice too. Large portions cooked fresh to order worth every penny. Been coming to RH Bay many many years and the highlight is always the Fish and Chips!
