Very accomodating

Very freindly and eager to please. We came in to this restaurant at about 9 PM to get in from the cold and there were a number of people waiting for what I assume were takaway orders, they soon departed as thier orders were handed over. We wished to eat in and the staff were prompt in finding us... read more

Went for our wedding anniversary last week and for a Thursday night was surprised it was busy. The service was good - asking us if we wanted a break between courses, so not rushed. Food presented and tasted very good. Just looks like a takeaway from outside, but bigger than you think. Once of the best we have been to... More

We ate at the New Treasure Garden during a weekend visit to Richmond. From the outside the restaurant was unassuming, but both the food and service within were excellent. All our courses were beautiful with a special mention for the crispy prawns - delicious, with light crunchy batter.and succulent prawns. It was very busy during our visit but staff were... More

Walk-in on a Saturday and a couple of free tables. Fair to say they have been shoehorned in, however it works and adds to the entertainment. Food ok, mixed starter, half a duck which was moist and plenty of sauce and cucumber and spring onions. All in all probably one of the better choices in town!

We were staying at the B&B next door and decided to have our evening meal here. The food was lovely and the staff pleasant. We were eating as a couple and towards the end a number of group parties came in and we seemed to get forgotten about. However, I wouldn't let that put me off going again if ever... More
