Called in here just for a Cuppa & something to eat. But saw the menu and it changed in to a full meal and we were pleasantly surprised we did. The home made meals we tried were filling & absolutely delicious. Service great, the only downside was the tables weren't big enough for the 4 of us who all had... More

Had afternoon tea here and it was lovely, such a good selection of scrummy deserts and the staff were very kind and helpful.

We went in after seeing the board outside advertising Fat Rascals (a Yorkshire speciality which I love). When the waitress came for our order, she had never heard of them. She checked in the kitchen and then on the board outside, and on her return said she would wipe the board outside as they didn't have them. She didn't ask... More

Love the range of standard non fussy food and the desserts are amazing. Afternoon tea is very good value. Always very friendly and polite service. Tables and chairs are a little small and tightly packed in but I guess they need the seats

Lovely shop front - inviting and looked busy. Once inside it was busy in chaotic way. Huge menu - depleted cake display. Found a table on our own facing the kitchen. Wasn't happy with my perception of general cleanliness - the chef was called from a table to "check the chicken was cooked". Didn't see her wash in the kitchen,... More

A great experience - afternoon tea in Richmond. Scones already prepared with jam and cream - odd, but very good and well worth trying. Even at the end of the day (not long before closing) we were welcomed and the experience was one worth repeating. If you're in or around Richmond, drop in and enjoy :)

Called here for a coffee and cake. Portions of cheesecake with ice cream was big enough for two people and most people seemed to be sharing. Cost £3.95 but given the portion size seems good value. Nice surroundings.

As it was a fine day we sat outside and watched the world go by. We were served excellent coffee by a very nice young lady and that is all we asked. Sometimes less is more.

This is practically the only place I have had red cabbage with all the other vegetables, highly recommended. Home made desserts to die for too!
