Every time I visit Richmond, this quaint little tea room is always on my Sunday morning agenda. The breakfast is perfect and a seat next to the window allows you to watch the world go by

Very pretty, lovely tea and cake (we did only have tea and cake so can't comment any more of wider choices of food!) but friendly attentive staff, lovely pot of tea in a cosy tea room setting - just what we were looking for.

The food was a little greasy, it might have been better if bread or toast was included with the breakfast not just fried bread. The staff were... More

One of the most charming places in Britain to enjoy lunch or tea - we did both. The food is delicious the ambiance utterly delightful excellent value for money. The ladies serving deserve a medal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We have just visited this lovely little tea room where we had scone and coffee that was delicious but the thing that made this place outstanding was the customer service. I asked the waitress if they had any sweetness for me to put in my coffee (I am diabetic and can't have sugar). The young waitress said they didn't have... More

The food at Cross View is fresh, wholesome, and well presented. The mochas are very good and the service is fantastic. There is seating both indoors and outdoors. We usually stopped in for coffee and dessert but we did have lunch one time and it was great. There foods are organic and they are willing and able to deal with... More

We came for lunch with our toddler. It was very busy but we were accommodated and the lady who serviced couldn't have been more attentive to us and our son; we ordered off menu for our son, she kindly offered to bring our sons lunch out at first, guessing he'd be hungry and brought crayons and childrens magazines when he... If you are looking for somewhere to have lunch in Richmond, look no further! Great value, home-cooked food and very friendly service, I couldn't fault the place in any way. The chicken & leek pie served with mashed potato and vegetables from the specials board was a real treat. I felt like I'd gone back in time to the 40s/50s... More
