Called in before shopping for tea and a teacake. Very friendly and welcoming staff, lots of regulars being looked after and a really good selection of gluten free cakes. The specials for lunch, including the soup, were being cooked fresh as people arrived asking if they were ready to serve and were politely asked to take a seat and have... More

Staff are friendly and the cafe feels very rustic. Tables are a little cramped. Our drinks were not wonderful, ok but a little disappointing. The food was ok with portions quite large but nothing spectacular.

This is a great little Cafe hiding off the High Street down The Garthway Arcade...but well worth seeking out. A family run business that knocks the High Street Chains for six with friendly staff delivering great customer service and a great range of home baked cakes.

A great little cafe with lovely home cooked food and delicious cakes! The layout is not ideal but the customer service makes up for it

Family run cafe serving food with local produce. Usually visit for a light lunch whilst in town. Friendly staff and highly recommended. God value for money.

Not been here for quite a few years as we live closer to Thirsk than Northallerton. However had to go to Northallerton today so thought we'd pop in for breakfast. It was quite busy downstairs so we headed upstairs. We were served quickly. My hubby had full english breakfast with coffee and I had a bacon bun and fresh orange... More

It is nice for older people. I used to love going here for a milkshake and scone when I was little with my mum and nan but now I am 19 and visiting I realise how over priced it is for what it is. Drinks are cheap even though they come in a can with a glass and the milkshake... More

Every so often we visit Northallerton on market days (Wednesdays, with Farmers' market on the 4th Wednesday. There is a large car park behind the Main Street, and we found this small cafe in one of the side streets between the car park and the market. And now we always go there. There is quite a large menu for a... More
