Have been going here for some time but one visit with a well-behaved 3 year old means we will not be going again. From the beginning we were made to feel very unwelcome. Clearly they want to be a child free venue which is their choice but they should have a notice outside to say so to avoid embarrassment all... More

We visited this week and were welcomed by Paul and Janet and their staff. I fancied the lighthouse lunch (like a ploughmans) but fancied some apple. They didn't have any but Paul had his own and was willing to share it ! The homemade coleslaw is amazing and yes there is carpet on the floor but it's homely and welcoming... More

The best food and attentive service you could wish for. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff went out of their way to be friendly.

The meals are expensive for what is very average food. The jacket potato was rubbery and horrible. Salad was meagre and very plain. The cafe was very clean. Asked me if everything was ok but when I told them the potato was not good they just blamed the type of potato.

We just popped in for a cup of tea on the way back to our car, not long before they were due to close. My partner Martyn had coffee and I had some tea and we decided to share a toasted teacake! It's a lovely little tearoom with lots of pictures and photos of lighthouses and some lighthouse goodies to... More
