After a very cold wet day standing on a rugby pitch in Scunthorpe on our way home we stopped off here to have a carvery first visit and we were very impressed with the warm friendly welcome and the carvery was excellent and certainly warmed us all up will definitely be calling here again,

I absolutely love this place, lovely warm friendly people and the food is the best we have found. They simply cannot be beaten on their carverys, 100% fresh meat and veg, none of that frozen stuff. You must must must try this place!

I was actually advised by a friend of mine about this little place in Eastoft, while it is out of the way from Scunthorpe I had never been there so my friend and I decide to call in, I have to say I was amazed from the moment I stepped in the door, the smiles were all around, I found... More

Stayed here on business, having booked through Late Rooms without doing any research. Price for B&B was very good indeed but I wasn't sure what to expect. I needn't have worried ; the accommodation is very modern and clean (with toiletries and a chocolate - nice touch), the service was very good and friendly (bar and restaurant) and the beer... More

My wife and I had had a busy day and decided at the last minute to eat out and visited the River Don in Eastoft. On entering we were met with smiles and log fires and from the varied menu we ordered two steaks, a rump and a sirloin. Both cooked to perfection. Service brilliant - drinks also brought to... More

Walk in and the friendly warm atmosphere hits you and relaxes you. We had the Sunday carvery. Meat was cooked perfectly, and the seasonal fresh veg was a treat in itself. Not normally a big eater but even I was compelled to go for seconds. Will be back.

This is a very typical UK village pub, family run, really nice people, simple fayre, and very well look after traditional beer - in fact exceptional beer. My first time at the pub, was there on business, just started doing Bed and Breakfast, the room are very big - KING SIZE BEDS!!!!!! - huge beds, well done. The rooms are... More

We decided at the last minute to eat in this village pub and had a fantastic meal. I chose turkey and ham pie (from seeing someone else's) and my husband chose a korma. We weren't disappointed. Great service, absolutely loads of food, piping hot and lots of different vegetables. There's a wide variety of choice and it's a real ale pub!... More
