We used to visit the White Hart every week for lunch but never again!! There is a new chef & a new menu (that's if you can even call it a menu) ... went 25th March 2014 & had a jacket potato which was appalling. So disappointed as we loved going there each week for lunch. Also there was no... More

Really enjoyed our visit to the White Heart this evening. The new improved menu was delightful. It seems to have tried to go a little bit more upmarket and it worked. Pub was as busy as I've ever seen it midweek. Had a great suet steK & kidney pie . Staff were very attentive. Very reasonably priced too, both the... More

Booked a table not really having any expectations but walked away with the feeling that not much could beat the food and the extremely helpful staff. The food really was outstanding and very high quality.

My wife and I took advantage of the Fish & Chips offer in our local paper. The service received was excellent and the quality of food was first class. We shall return for lunch or maybe an evening meal. Cannot fault our experience and well worth a visit.

Been a few times and enjoyed it, but wasn't as good when I went out with the girls last month. We go out periodically to different places throughout the year to celebrate birthdays! don't

This was my favourite town eatery but having visited lately at lunch they have changed the menu and gone more up market and expensive. Was really disappointed and wondered why we were the only ones in at usually a busy period. Food is good but nowhere near the choice that there used to be. Wont be back for a while

This pub was amazing when it first opened. me and my wife loved it, but last time we went it was terrible, the menu is small and boring. the beer is rank and the place is dead. ( steak night) rump no!!!!! plus the nice beer garden had all the old kitchen appliances everwhere.

My last review seems to have disappeared..Went there for lunch on Valentine's Day 2014. Two of my party were vegetation and one meat eater. Lunch menu only offering for vegetarian was a cheese and pickle sandwich. I asked the uninterested waiter if there was anything else and there wasn't and apparently I was the only person to complain. This was... More
