The Kingsway restaurant is a delight for breakfast, lunch or a formal dinner. It is a traditional British hotel restaurant. The food quality is excellent, well cooked and more than adequate portions. The menu is varied with good vegetarian options and comes as value for money set menus or a la carte. Extensive lounges for pre and post meal drinks... More

My wife and I were visiting family in Cleethorpes and they suggested Sunday lunch at the Kingsway Hotel. We were fortunate to get a late booking for 4 and it was easy to see why the Kingsway was so popular. The hotel is privately owned and still has the care and attention that only a non-group establishment can give. The... More

From the moment we arrived the service and quality was impeccable, Excellent caring staff and waiters, no rush to get you in and out, great lounge for pre dinner drinks and to leisurely view the menu and order before being ushered to your table when ready.Ample portions of food at a very reasonable price. The whole experience was excellent.

Called in on off chance whilst passing 21.6.14. we were well greated and took a seat in the lounge with a very nice bottle of wine (I must say the wine list is very extensive) and a couple of menus. Choosing from the "Host Table Dinner" menu with 3 courses and a set fee of £29.95. A La Carte Menu... More

Fabulous food with a great choice on the menu. There cant be anything anyone likes or dislikes with their choices. The service was, as usual, fabulous with all waiters and waitresses being attentive. It is well worth pushing the boat out and paying an extra pound to get better food, service and a view!!

Starched white table linen, fantastiv sea front location with panoramic views thid family owned restaurant and hotel never forgets the clients are there to enjoy fine wine and excellent food witjout the pretentiousness of top restaurants and hotels. The immaculately dressed and trained waiting staff serve unobtrusively. The laout of tables enables diners privacy for their conversations. A gem.

We visited the restaurant for the first time despite having lived here for most of my 40sonething years. It was our wedding anniversary and I'd mentioned this when booking and the gentleman on the phone made a note but I've no idea why, as no mention was made on the night. I'd agree with the previous comments on the Head... More

Those of us eating meat/fish dishes for lunch enjoyed our meal which was a good standard of traditional food. The deserts were good and service was polite and efficient. However, I have opted to write a reveiw because, for the third time I have eaten here with a family member who is vegetarian, the one vegetarian main meal option was... More

Waiter arrived with menu, gave us approx 10 mins and took our orders, was shown to table approx 15 mins later. Food as always was tasty and plentiful, good wine choice and... More

Certainly one of the best Sunday lunches I've had for a while. Food was delicious and well presented. Staff were attentive and friendly. At £23.50 for 3 courses, coffee and mints, I thought this good value for the quality and quantity given. The setting is somewhat old fashioned but a pleasant change.
