Have visited this place many times over the years....standard and service is always excellent. Also very reasonably priced. Would recommend Ernie's to all visitors!

After a long drive, all I wanted to do was refuel with some fish and chips. So I was recommened Ernie's and I wasnt dissappointed, I ordered the Jumbo for £10 and it was one of the best F&S I have ever had, it even came with a slice of bread and butter, perfect!

I was on a rail rover trip last week and decided to call in at Cleethorpes because I'd never been there before and it had a good reputation for fish and chips. Arriving, I was faced with a multitude of choice, so many fish and chip shops in such a small area and near to the railway station. Best bet... More

I have been visiting this fish shop for over 40 years so I felt confident that today's visit with my family would be as good as it was in the good old days. Sadly, this was not the case. My order consisted of Fish and Chips x 6 plus a fish for the dog - the portions were average but... More

We called here today and had haddock chips peas and pot of tea. The fish and chips were really nice hot and tasty, with no after taste of cooking oils that they are cooked in. A very clean place to eat in,and friendly staff that served us. I cannot understand why people wait outside in all weathers to take a... More

After a day out at Cleethorpes Carnival my partner and I fancied a fish & chip supper and chose Ernie Becketts because it looked really traditional and there was a queue at the takeaway ( always a good sign). We weren't disappointed. We sat in the restaurant and both had fish, chips, mushy peas with bread & butter and a... More

We enjoyed fish, chips and mushy peas, tea, bread and butter at Ernie Beckett's. Service was faultless and our plates were in front of us within two or three minutes of placing our order. Freshly cooked, tender haddock that fell off the fork. The bill came to 20 pounds including tip and was excellent value-for-money. No frills, polite, efficient staff... More

Being a local, and having many fish and chips shops to choose from on my door step, I still return to my favourite Ernie Becketts. Having a friendly relaxing and chatty atmosphere with the staff. A very clean establishment, and the food is second to non.... Struggling to eat it all, with the portions being so generous. My first choice... More

After our recent visit to the fish restaurant, I felt I had to spread the word about the best Fish & Chips I've ever tasted at Ernie Becketts. we sat in the restaurant area which has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. the menu had a large range of choice...
