Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime to an empty restaurant so got the window seat which had a great view. I chose a lasagne and my mum the steak and ale pie- both came with chips and we both enjoyed the meals as you could tell the quality of the homemade food. Afterwards we had a white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake... More

Me and a colleague travelled from Newcastle to Cleethorpes today on business, calling into here for our lunch, initially we didn't have high hopes but on walking into the restaurant we were amazed, the place is immaculate, modern furniture and a calm atmosphere! Service cannot be faulted and the fish and chips was tremendous, my colleague is a chef by... More

Impromptu visit on Thursday evening, service attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, had two courses, absolute perfection. Very pleasant intimate restaurant with a fabulous menu.

Went here on valentines evening and was so glad we did. No rip off set menu here, just delicious wholesome food at reasonable prices. My husband and I had 3 courses each with a bottle of wine and a pint for just under £60. The generous starter and main course made pudding a squeeze but they sounded so tempting, we... More

My wife and I have been visiting the Notts regularly since it came under new ownership. We have always found the food to be of a high standard with regular 'specials' to whet our appetites. The fish dishes are excellent and the smoked haddock chowder is to die for! If don't want a big meal try 2 starters, there is... More

We had both been here before, enjoyed the meal very much and the two young waitresses were great, really good service throughout the night. This time however the food was just OK, and the lady serving us, well it just seemed like it was all a...
