Took my son and his partner for his birthday lunch. Greeted by very welcoming and friendly staff who coldt do enough for us. W opted for the lunch menu and all had delicious Brie and goats cheese in a light crispy coating and fried...delicious, followed by a very lovely pear, walnut and goat's cheese salad....wonderful. Went here in a works night out, there was 10 of us, everyone was more than happy and had 3 courses. Couldn't fault the food, fillet steak was the best I've had in ages and the portions were more than generous. All the staff and the owner with great too. The fish and chips are super if you are massively hungry. I opted for the pulled pork sandwich which was one of the nicest I have eaten. Good service too.

Excellent food. They booked me in on the wrong night, I was then made to feel this was my fault. When we was shown to a table there was no starter cutlery and had to use my main meal cutlery. I was never asked how my meal was or offered desserts afterwards. I wanted another drink but to be honest... More

It is not the biggest but is popular. You will need to take your card since it is expensive .Not a vast choice but sufficient.Nice starters including goats cheese and figs and chicken and chilli sauce. I may have chosen the wrong main course.... More

The food itself was amazing. To start we shared the Italian tasking plate. That came with rosemary foccacia tear and share bread... More

From when you enter the door the welcome is very warm and the service is first class. The food is pricey but you don't mind the extra few pounds when it is so good. The food was very nice and well worth what was charged.
