Excellent home cooked, good quality meal at a reasonable price and ina beautiful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely visit again. There is no dedicated children's menu but many of the dishes are available in half portions you just need to ask e.g. Fish pie, fish and chips. Would recommend booking in advance, although there are a lot of... More

Lovely setting perfect for summer evening drive into country , if somewhat difficult to find. Very busy. Food and service excellent especially the raspberry and white chocolate trifle!! Parking very difficult as there was a wedding evening party there and as we left we pitied the few near neighbours because of the very loud music emanating from it.

Thank you for your review, most appreciated and so pleased you found us, keep trying to have the council improve our signage but they won't. Loud bands are so annoying, they all think their Nivana! Regards Cb More

We arrived nice and early on a Saturday, 6.30 and it was as usual rather busy but the wonderful staff managed to squeeze us in at a lovely table in a side room. We had a delicious meal and even managed a pudding. Superb as usual

In December 2013 my husband and I got married at the Inn at Whitewell. The day was just perfect; everything from the food to the staff was exactly what we wanted and more. Since then, we haven’t been back as we moved away from the area. We’re back now and visited the Inn for my husband’s birthday on Saturday evening.... More

We family met for lunch and we all enjoyed the food. The deserts were particularly delicious. All the staff were friendly and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere with plenty of tables to choose from. The views are beautiful. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for your kind review, so glad your family had a happy time with us, that's what i like about the informality of an Inn, and throw the odd dog in too. Regards Cb More

The barman seemed surprised that I wanted him to carry an opened bottle of Champagne in an ice bucket with 2 glasses to the table for me. The food was ok as well as the atmosphere. Maybe the bar staff need more training.

I couldn't agree more, so sorry, we have two new bar staff at the moment, they are clearly not up to speed yet, thank you. Regards Cb More

We read a review recently in the Guardian/Observer newspaper listing this as one of the 50 best pubs in the country to eat at, and based on a visit last weekend I can endorse that view. Whitewell consists of a small simple church , the historic rambling country Inn and just a handful of houses locally, so it is an... More
