Called in for a spot of lunch with my better half on a nice bank holiday monday. Sat outside and ordered 2 soups with warm crusty roll and two cream teas. Half an hour later the soup arrives and is warm but not hot. The roll is neither warm nor crusty!. Described as "pea and ham" soup, this was nothing... More

I had looked at Molly's reviews on tripadvisor. Some were good or even excellent, others were average and four were terrible. However, I thought I would give the place a chance. I'm afraid I have to agree with last four. We ordered soup with warm bread. We were a little anxious because we only had 40 - 30 minutes left... More

Tis was a very nice cafe serving some great northern comfort food on a wet and win dy winter's day. I had plate meat pie, chips and mushy peas and my wife l had steak canadienne with chips and salad - both very good indeed. Service was friendly. If we're over that way again I want to try the steak... More
