A Pleasant Town Centre Cafe

Admittedly I'm not as big a fan of this place as my parents are, who, when visiting from Northern Ireland always seem keen to visit and constantly rave about it. That doesn't mean I dislike it, far from it in fact. Mollys is well decorated cafe with a menu offering a good variety of food, snacks... read more

We tried molly's for the first time today and now know the reason we've never been before. We ordered the pie chips peas and gravy and the all day breakfast. The pie couldn't be faulted but the gravy could only be described as school dinner gravy, very watery with no taste. The meal was meant to come with peas and... More

Lovely little place to call for coffee or more. Far far better than the chain coffee shops. Highly recommended - unless you have mobility difficulties - stairs to the loo very steep.

Today my husband, my son and I visited clitheroe. It was around 1 o'clock so we decided to look for a local cafe to eat lunch. We aren't familiar with the area but came across which looked like a nice cafe. We went in and found a table and was offered a menu promptly. A member of the 2 staff... More

we was in Clitheroe on Saturday and found this tea room and thought it looked like a good place to eat with good home cooked food. WRONG, I went for the Lancashire ploughman’s Served with generous helpings of sweet pickle, apple, ham, crumbly Lancashire and cheddar cheese. The generous helping of sweet pickle was 2 teaspoons, it had shop bought... More

Visited here yesterday for a full English, it was plentiful and tasty and hit the spot. The young lass serving was polite and friendly. The only negative I would have to say is I found the price a little on the steep side £18 for two full English) hence can not afford to visit too often, but on the whole... More

My and my boyfriend used to go to Molly's almost every Sunday for breakfast, but earlier this year it really started to go down hill. It started when we were sent brown toast instead of white, which is fine and not a big deal. Another time I ordered a sweet chilli chicken salad, when it arrived I was told that... More

We last visited Mollys in January and had a great lunch. So we went back today and were disappointed. The service was good, waitresses very prompt to take orders and very friendly, but the food itself took a very long time to arrive. When it did my steak and kidney pudding with chips and mushy peas was fine, but my... More

Grubby and cold environment. Ordered salad with sandwich but it was brown and wilted. Overpriced basic food.

Lovely traditional Café with proper homemade food. We havnt visited here in a long while even though we are local! We found it to be one of the only cafes open on a Sunday in Clitheroe. Great food good service and open on sundays!
