Last night my wife and I went to the Buck for a Christmas meal along with 8 of our friends. Could not fault anything. The service was excellent as was the food. All our friends commented how good the food was. Once again a big thanks to Steve and Rachael. Always worth the 40 mile round trip from home

Went here in family group of 4 for evening meal. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. The food was very good, nothing fancy but good tasty food in generous portions. We had a round of drinks before the meal, 2 course meal with bottle of wine and it came to £83.50. I think that's pretty good value.

This is a proper village pub serving good quality home-cooked food and real ales, I had four pints of Copper Dragon and it was the best beer I have had for a long time. We all got a friendly welcome when we arrived and the staff were very chatty all night. There is a games area with pool table, darts... More

Although the pub was quite nice and most of the people pleasant... A pint of Copper Dragon, IPA I think it was, cloudy and undrinkable. This was replaced by another pint of the same, cloudy and undrinkable, without even tasting it. Yet another pint of same still cloudy and undrinkable. All three served in glasses with a logo "Clear Beer".... More
