Great atmosphere, lovely food.

I went here on a Saturday night with friends. The service was great despite the restaurant being very busy. The whole place has a very cosy yet modern feel. The food was lovely and I really like the pizza from here.

In Clitheroe and thought we would visit the Emporium as it has a pretty decent reputation. I ordered our drinks first, when my drink arrived I got a flat sparkling water and told them it was flat, then got given another flat water… in the end I ordered still, with no apology given. The food, my partner ordered the cheese... More

Well I used to really like this place. Yesterday however has changed my opinion the bar man measured glasses of processo out in a metal drinks measure first before pouring it into a glass. As you can imagine it was then flat. Iv never seen this done before and hope never to see it again.

Our group of cyclists often visit the Emporium for morning coffee and cake. Over the last few weeks the size of the cakes has slowly diminished. Today’s cake was miniscule. Our complaints to the staff were met with indifference. It is a shame but the Emporium may be crossed off our café list if it does not improve quickly.

The Emporium is well-known locally, and can be busy. It features an eclectic variety of home furnishings over three floors of cafe/pub/restaurant, and these furnishings are available to purchase. So far, so good. When we visited it was not too busy, but service was slow. The vegetable soup was excessively salty, the fries accompanying the main courses kind of followed... More

The interior is interesting, it being an old building. Three couples went for lunch and 2 of us ordered the chicken and wild mushroom tagliatelli. I got approx 5 cubic centimetres of chicken and I agree the mushroom had gone wild because I couldn't find it. The sauce was tasty thanks to the parmesan but it was a high price... More

A really nice place with lots of quirkiness. We visited as part of a friend's and family group to celebrate a birthday .. The Emporium was extremely busy.. A table booked in advance and we were waiting over an hour to be shown to our table. Waited another hour for our food, which was nothing to write home about. Granted... More

The ambiance is second to none! It was, and almost always is, heaving. Service was good in spite of this. Coffee was hot and delicious whilst the cake was a little dry (we ate three of the choices on the menu!) Overall, an enjoyable experience but I would steer clear of cake and eat their fabulous pizzas instead in the... More
