I hadn't been here for a good few years until recently when it was my friends birthday. We booked a table of 4 for 9.30 on a busy Friday night and wasn't disappointed. We choose to have a banquet for four at £17 a head . The food was piping hot and served with perfect attention and speed. The wonderful... More

We are regulars here because the food is beautifully cooked and excellent value for money. Dont be put off by the front of the restaurant. Its one of Chorley's little gems. Service is attentive, excellent and they never rush you. Recommended..kung po chicken, sui mi, crispy chilli chicken, salt and chilli pepper wings.

We regularly visit Happy Village and have never had a bad meal or experienced bad service. The restaurant will never win awards for decor, however, the food has always been great and the service excellent. When the restaurant gets busy sometimes there is a longer wait for courses to appear but never to an unacceptable level. We will continue to... More

I've eaten at Happy Village since I was a little girl & I've never had a bad meal. I don't think the decor has changed since I was a child but in my opinion that adds to the restaurants charm. The food is always tasty, the portions are huge (more often than not I end up taking some home) &... More

We have been on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent and the service second to none. However in winter the restaurant could do with a decent heating system. If it was warmer during the winter months the restaurant would be much busier.

We visited here as a family of 6 having booked on our way home from a day out in Wales on a Sunday evening. It wasn't very busy but we had really good service and the food was first rate - especially the crispy duck pancakes. We ordered a banquet for 4 and there was plenty for 3 adults and... More

We went here a few weeks back as our intended restaurant was full, we hadn't booked and I guess the fact that this place was full at 6pm on a Saturday spoke volumes. We were offered a table upstairs which we didn't mind, the food was good quality old school Chinese fare - in fact very good quality as was... More

I've been here several times simply because they are the closest. I'm willing to travel further to get my Chinese food from now on. Absolutely disgusted at the kitchen which you can see if you go up to the till. All the food was in tubs sat on the floor with the cooks climbing over them and running in and... More
