We had a wonderful meal here on Saturday night, the food was amazing (beef fillet stroganoff and porcini ravioli), the wine lovely and not overpriced, the decor amazing (so cosy and Christmassy), the service excellent (and it was a busy night). Like others have said I have been here previously and not had the best meal but the new owner... More

we booked our xmas do here and it was for 18, we all paid £5 deposit. The pea and ham soup was that thick you needed to cut it. what was ordered and described as lam casserole arrived, it was cold and looked more like hotpot there was hardly any liquid with it and the dumplings were like little bricks.... We went here for an impromptu meal last night and we really enjoyed it, we were made to feel welcome, the service was appropriately prompt and attentive and the food was stunning, we had baked salmon, lamb chops for main course with scallops and the ridiculously good black pudding starter, all of that followed by a delicious chocolate cake dessert,... The restaurant was taken over in June and in that week I went and was bitterly disappointed. BUT, I went again last night (my obsession with Tapas knows no bounds) and was amazing. The new owner has done a fantastic job! The interior was beautiful, very christmassy! Every table was booked and we were lucky to get the last one... More

A quirky little restaurant in Chorley town. Nice lunch menu with varied choices allowed at reasonable prices. I have a food intolerance and the staff were more than willing to adapt my choice. The drinks are very good price too. Will definitely return for dinner in the evening next time

Ordered a seabass fillet. Smallest fish I have ever seen. All skin, no flesh and tasted only of brine. I thought the frozen chips are proof that the chef was absent. It isn't hard to submerge maris pipers into hot oil after all. Paid adult prices for childs portion but it wasn't good enough to eat anyway. The waiter wasn't... More

Ordered a seabass and there was more skin than fish!! And it tasted like sea water. Portion was also very small. Told the waiter at the end of the meal but he was not interested! Give it a miss!

First time ever writing a review but thought this place warranted it. So dark in there, only lighting was candles so could not see the food. Now I know why! Starters: chicken wrap was ok. Nachos were cold, pile of tortilla chips with bit of melted cheese on top, salsa was chopped tomatoes, no jalapenos, just lots of black and... More

Sat here in new seasons writing this review. A party of 4 on a Thursday night and booked. We ordered a bottle of wine, cocktails, Peronis...etc! Our starter came....fab lovely prawns, tasty lamb chops. And then after about 30 minute wait... Our mains came what a disappointment! Our beef stroganoff was stone cold and not fillet steak, lamb chops what... More

The food was excellent, all 4 of us enjoyed our meals and the ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The staff were attentive and the service was great, we would definitely return here...
