Good value

We have been to the Queen `Vic` on numerous occasions and would recommend it as a good value pub restaurant with plenty of childrens facilities. The food is typical of this type of restaurant but is always of a good quality. Service at the bar could be better at busy times but all in all we have no... read more

We have been to the Queen `Vic` on numerous occasions and would recommend it as a good value pub restaurant with plenty of childrens facilities. The food is typical of this type of restaurant but is always of a good quality. Service at the bar could be better at busy times but all in all we have no real complaints... More

I often visit this pub as they do themed buffet nights throughout the week, with typical English food, Indian, Chinese, Italian etc and they do a good Sunday lunch. The buffet is eat all you want, so no question you should go home feeling empty! They have a good kids indoor play area within the pub, so you can either... More

The food is good value for money. The staff are exceptionally attentive and helpful. Everything is clean and well maintained. Don't go expecting haute cuisine...it isn't that sort of place. It is good at what it sets out to do. A good family restaurant with the emphasis on children and what they like. There is a soft play centre included... More

Had an evening meal whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door. Mediocre meal with too much dressing on the salad, this in turn leeched into the chicken I was eating, spoilt the meal.

Staff miserable apart from the young lady working on the bar. No organisation, the duty manager has not got a clue about service. Waited to be seated and was told to just find a table, tables were dirty and a mess. Curry buffet was not available at 7:45 and was told if we wanted it, it was just what was... More

A typical brewers Fayre establishment but with lovely, friendly, helpful staff still smiling even though they were working early on New years day morning. We had the 'all you can eat' breakfast and found it tasty and filling!! There was a choice of continental and cooked, we only had the cooked. I asked for a poached egg with a soft... More

The service was shocking after placing our food order. Lazy/slow service lack of manners from staff. Food average if ordering from the menu, best choice would be to have the carvary
