don't expect a fancy menu, this is a national chain. But the staff that served us were brilliant. Friendly fast and efficient service can't speak too highly of them. The food is fair and was tasty enough, but nothing exciting. More comfort food than adventurous, but good value. Worth a visit especially with kids of any age.

It's not fine dining but neither are the prices. We found our waitress, Linda, very helpful and pleasant. Our food was cooked fresh but even so, we didn't have to wait very long. The salad bar looked like it had recently been replenished and was lovely and fresh. It seems a popular venue set in beautiful countryside.

I had lunch here with my wife, daughter and granddaughter on a Sunday afternoon and found the food was very good, service was slow because we had one waitress looking after so many tables, Gail was doing everything, so couldn't serve effectively, you need more staff here! But Gail was fantastic, she was friendly and served us as fast as... More

Was a horrendous experience , topped off by me emailing the restaurant and not receiving any comments back . Unlimited breakfast was not unlimited , you have to order it , which takes 45 minutes to come out , the toaster didn't work , no breads, or muffins or cakes for a continental , you are charged extras for drinks... Arrived a little early but the waitresses were very friendly and sat us down. My youngest was playing up a bit so the waitress brought her some crayons and chatted to her. Nothing was too much trouble all the staff were lovely. When our food came it was delicious and a bargain as we ordered off the £9.99 meal deal... More

I enjoy the food at harvesters but the service is too slow. I understand when its busy but we were seated more or less straight away but had to wait 15minutes just for someone to come back and take our order which is not good especially when you have children who are really hungry. When we did get the food... More

The last visit nearly all of the salad items were empty, including the basics such as lettuce, the sauces were also nearing empty - they had run out of wholemeal rolls so we opted for the white ones. Without ANY hint of making an overly radical statement the white rolls were so hard/stale they would have penetrated triple glazed windows.... More

We went to the Bentleywood for my husbands special birthday meal with 10 family and friends. We have been several times in the past but never with so many. But as per usual the staff were so friendly and helpful, not minding that I had brought 2 cakes for them to hold for me. The menus have something for everyone.... More

We eat at the Harvester in Burnley as we've been to others in the chain and always found them good. The Burnley one does not live up to the standards off others we've been to. Car park needs a bit of attention, the outdoor seating area needed lots of empty glasses clearing and was not a great first impression. There... More

My wife and I had two very enjoyable meals at this Harvester. The surroundings are clean, modern and cosy. The staff are friendly and the service quick. The salad bar and sauces offer a tasty and healthy accompaniment to a great value meal, especially the meal deal at £9.99 with unlimited soft drink refills and a sundae. Would recommend to... More
