An ideal venue with excellent food cooked to order, friendly and attentive staff. Relatively easy parking.
Stumbled across this little gem whilst passing through. Nice atmosphere, real food and really nice staff. They can make coffee too, which is nice.....
I popped into the Giraffe at lunchtime, as I had an hour to kill, and wanted to sit in comfort for my lunch, rather than slum it in my car. What a great decision! Faced with quite a menu, I eventually settled for a roast ham sandwich, just resisting the spicy butternut squash soup...but only just! Other serious contenders given... More

There are evenings with entertainment I.e. Michael Buble tribute act etc. These are small and exclusive very enjoyable eveningsand as always beatifully cookrd food and excellent service.
The Fat Giraffe is one of my all time favourite places to eat, with a great choice of food to suit all tastes & a friendly welcoming feel as standard. This week however I enjoyed an evening Tapas meal there which was one of the best I have had in the UK. A good choice of Tapas dishes for either... More

As it was a cold wet winters day we all decided to sample a different hot chocolate. They were delicious, hand warming and because they weren't smothered... More

We too have experienced this. My tip in elevating this is to not arrived when starving hungry as the wait pays dividends when the food... More
I have to say that I've visited The Fat Giraffe on many occasion and the more I go the better it gets. The menu changes every month, with the usual classics as a main stay, meaning there's always good choice. The menu isn't massive but there is always something delightful to choose, starters, mains and even more for the deserts.... More
It's a nice little place to drop by for a quick drink or a small bite to eat. There's a nice atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. They don't have a great deal on the menu any many of them are quite similar, not many veg options but there's one or two things I quite liked which I'd go again... More
Before visiting relatives in the area we had a look in Trip Advisor to find somewhere for Saturday breakfast. So glad we did and found this fantastic place, and we were not disappointed. Service was super and the young lass serving was nice and chatty enquiring where we were from and made us feel very welcome. Thanks. Before going to... More
