I have been a few time for varied occasions. I'd recommend going here during weekdays for a peaceful and tastier meal. Prices are overpriced for what you get and would say the old menu was more to my eye

We ordered Fish an Chips and both decided that it was poor overall. The presentation was very good and it looked freshly cooked. The fish could not be identified and had some reddish coloured chewy parts. The flavour of the fish was poor - but the batter was good! The chips looked freshly cooked but tasted stodgy. My wife could... More

Went with my hubby for Sunday lunch last week, ordered 1 Turkey and 1 Beef Sunday lunch, looked ok but tasted very bland, but our worst gripe was the food was stone cold,so really disappointed, no one came over to ask if everything was ok, went to the bar to complain, but as there was 4 dogs and a lot... I have eaten here a few times recently both with friends and on my own. The food has always been excellent and good service. The staff are very friendly and even better they do allow you to walk there with your dog and eat in the bar area if you don't want a. Full formal meal.

Lovely inn in a pretty village. Called in here one evening after having climbed Pendle Hill and it was worth the visit. I tried the famous Pendle pie, which in a way is a type of cottage pie, but it contains chunks of meat instead of minced meat. It was very tasty indeed so I'd return to the Pendle Inn... More

As I live in Burnley, we have regally visited Pendle Inn all my life as it is a beautiful pub in a beautiful location. It is fantastic to go to for a nice drink after a lovely walk round Barley or up Pendle Hill, and an added bonus is its dog friendly which is ever so important to us. However,... More

We chose the chefs special, roast beef dinner. £9 which is more than reasonable, just the right amount, hit the spot. Staff seemed friendly enough, clean inside, nice chilled atmosphere, I'd visit again!

On Monday 4th May after a lovely walk up Pendle Hill, we decided to eat here after having an enjoyable meal last year. We'd asked for the menus about 4:45pm and were told last food orders were 6pm so didn't think that trying to order food at 5pm was too late. I was informed by a young waiter behind the... More

Amazing night atmosphere, proper pub grub, great selection of real ales. Welcomes dogs, has lovely roaring fires. Have eaten many times now and never disappointed. Our last visit this weekend was great as usual, with great service from a young waiter named Dean. Best pub in the area
