Tucked down a side street in Whitstable this place is well worth visiting. Nice, friendly feel about the place coupled with decent quality ingredients clearly used means we'll definitely be back.

We've been visiting this great cafe restaurant for the last 3 years and it never fails to please. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It's down to earth and not that smart but the food is totally scrumptious and home made. Caters well for veggies, great breakfasts, brunches, delicious soups, tasty quiche with generous fillings, good range of salads, savoury dishes... More

ordered sausage baguette was Ok, but there was a side of limp lettuce leaves and a handful of crisps these did nothing to add to the dish and made it look unappetising, the table could have been cleaner as is was still sticky from previous occupant. the toilets only had a hand towel (well used) which is unhygienic these days.

Six of us trundled in at 11am in the hope they did a cooked breakfast ( having had lovely sarnies from them when they first opened). Choice of full or half English breakfast, local fruit juices - just what we needed. Sat in sunny courtyard at back. Service was quick as we were first in, thoroughly enjoyable and good food.

Are visiting today we were very disappointed The 'Breakfast tea' is just a pj tips tea bag in the mug. The food was not cooked as we asked and the sandwiches where granary not white as requested the woman that brought them was abrupt.- won't be returning and won't be recommending to friends.

This is a hidden gem! We come in grab a healthy lunch to takeaway to the beach. The restaurant itself is sweet but small so we just prefer to escape to the beach! Service if friendly and efficient. Altogether a great local business!

I just want to agree with all the very positive comments about this little place, and to add that they laid on a very nice "do" upstairs for my granddaughter's baptism celebration. I don't know if they want to advertise "functions catered for" but it's worth asking, if you need to find a venue for an informal family gathering. To... More

I love this little place. Real home cooked comfort food. Our local for breakfast now. Staff are always pleasant and not had a bad meal yet. Would highly recommend it.

I was in Whitstable for the Oyster Festival week with my family. We ate here several times. Each time our food was great whether it was a breakfast or lunch meal. There were usually 3 adults & 4 children in our group. We were so impressed with this place as our orders were changed due to the children's likes and... More
