The breakfast had a lot of ground to make up because I was grumpy about having to tramp off to the cash machine and then waiting ages for it to arrive, but it was that good it completely reversed my mood. Each item individually delicious and perfectly cooked, hot, non-greasy, assembled attractively. Worth the wait.

We were visiting for a light lunch on a lovely sunny Monday. It seemed like a perfect option and we were not disappointed. Had lovely thick granary sandwiches with handcut ham and really excellent coronation chicken (not gunky at all - really tasty!) with good chunky chips . The service was quick but not particularly friendly - our sandiwches were... More

Half seating area was blocked off for cleaning. There were no other places to sit and when we asked to sit there we were grumpily allowed. Chocolate cake was set, latte was good. Deffo lacking a good welcome and friendliness compared to Windy and Beach cafe

Ate here on Friday evening as a group of 4 and we were all delighted with our meals and experience. We each had 3 courses and enjoyed every one of them. Great menu and atmosphere. We liked it so much that we came back the next day for lunch. It always seemed busy when walking by and so I would... More

A very pleasant place to refresh with coffee, or tea, cakes, buns, toasted sandwiches, paninis and so forth. The food was nicely prepared and presented, drinks were nice - I don't like strong coffee, so rather than risk that, I always went for tea. Go to the counter to order, and sit and wait - always advisable to get your... More

Had a breakfast and lunch here and place was absolutely fab. Great environment and super food. Salt beef, horseradish and gherkin sandwich was so tasty. Rest of the group had differing sandwiches, all excellent.

I took my wife to Elliotts for a Mothers Day lunch and it didn't disappoint. The food was its usual high mouth watering standard we've come to expect, from the stunning cauliflower velouté and foie gras for starters followed by a cracking roast beef with all the trimmings for main. The atmosphere was relaxed and just perfect to unwind with... More

Ate here last evening, what a wonderful meal! Crevettes were amazing followed by the sweetest, tenderest lamb that I have ever had.!Lemon posset with shortbread to finish. We liked it so much that we have booked to go again before the end of our holiday.
