We walked in towards the restaurant and was told we were to sit in the pub as they wasn't busy enough to open the restaurant. The table was sticky and just wasn't what we wanted for a birthday meal. The waitress came over after a while of waiting and apologised that she didn't get over sooner, but it was because... More

We booked here a couple of hours before arriving having been informed how nice the food was. When we did arrive at the pub it was very quite and as we were walking through to the restaurant we were called back by a rather disheveled looking lady to say that the restaurant was closed and that we we're being placed... Delicious fresh local food, fantastic atmosphere and venue, freindly staff. Great evening out, something a little unusual. Definitely my new favourite venue. Will recommend to all. Love this little gem!

After one excellent and one disappointing meal last year, we tried it again last night. Really poor - pulled lamb with couscous was reheated chunks of rubbery lamb on a mat of congealed couscous. Spiced dishes were harsh with too much smoked paprika. Steak half burned half raw. Garlic prawns ok (frozen cooked prawns reheated with garlic and oil couldn't... More

Found this place by chance and was very impressed. We loved the laid back attitude - no menu and instead given a selection of excellent, good quality food! Great atmosphere! Makes such a change from normal restaurants! We will definitely be back!!

No menu so not quite sure what was going to be served for £15.00 each. Our food was Ok but we had to wait a long time before our order was taken. Unfortunately the whole experience was rather spoilt by the manager being very rude to the people on the next table who were apparently disappointed by the size of... More

My first visit last night with a group of friends. No menu as we had chosen the lay down menu where they just bring a selection of food freshly prepared and cooked from locally sourced produce. Waitress was friendly, efficient and quite frankly lovely. Food was awesome. It was like tapas just better!!! Can't wait to go back and take... More

Great value at £12 per head and £6 for children - we love the Sunday roasts and go there often for those, hard to find somewhere my children will actually eat the same food as us, but this works! Today we took some friends from London with us and it was a new Sunday menu - steaks cooked in a... More

Loved the idea of eating what's being served on the night! Fantastic service, great booze, not too pricey and superb food. Would recommend to anyone. A real find!
