Had Sunday lunch here with the family.

Had Sunday lunch here with the family. The portions are huge. There is so much food. Would definitely recommend the roast. We will be back.

I love the Saltmarsh, the laid back atmosphere & always friendly welcoming staff. You get to choose 3 of 4 starters to share plus a big salad & brochette then 3 of 4 mains also to share with some sort of potatoes & seasonal veg. Then you choose your own pudding. We had king prawns, mushroom toast, steak, chicken, lamb... More

We went to this restuarant, after going to another which was fully booked. Apparently so was this one, however we were informed by a very helpful and friendly lady that if we opted for a "Hit" they could accomodate us and that the food would arrive in good time. We were not dissapointed! A hit is a sort of tapas/mixture... More

A nice concept but run by kids, we arrived on time to find that wait for food will be around one and a half hours, We did get a free drink but we would of rather told this in advance, we did call the night before so they could of told of of any issues? Food is good but massive... More

I booked a table for my wife and I at Salt Marsh about a week before our visit for my birthday. I've eaten here a couple of times before and again in did not disappoint. The staff were polite, welcoming and friendly. I like the fact that there's no menu and they cook what food they have in at the... More

We ate here last night for a belated Valentines Meal. My partner had eaten here once before for his Christmas Work Due and enjoyed it so much along with 10 of his other work friends, he couldn't wait to share the experience. And it was very tasty. The Food was cooked to perfection the Flavours were great and the service... More

Quirky restaurant tucked out of the way. No menus the staff just let you know what they're cooking that day. You get loads of food and they have a good range of drinks. We enjoyed chicken in a mustard sauce, gorgeous meatballs and a load of other dishes. Staff are really friendly and the restaurant has a great ambience. Will... More

Visited with quite a large group. Food was great, I love the informal nature of this place and the fact that everything is so fresh and delicious. If anything portions are too big and we ended up with great mountains of steak and vegetables which we couldn't manage. The service was charming and the atmosphere was fun and lively.

The best tapas in town, easily trouncing the likes of jojo's by offering variety, value, service and atmosphere which makes eating there truly unique. The problem would seem to be that for half the week the restaurant part is closed so diners have to eat in the Duke Of Cumberland pub which is probably the grottiest pub in town, alright for booze up but dreadful... This is a great little place. It feels like you are eating in a antiques roadshow storage area. The design of the place is really cool and something a bit different. Not to many tables which brings a more intimate feel to the place. The decor is cool and definitely works well with the concept they are going for. The... More
