We came here on a Saturday night in November with our children and their partners and loved it. It had been recommended to us by a friend of my daughter. I think we wouldn't have bothered without the tip, as it's so low down the ratings, and we would've missed out on a treat. The atmosphere was great, it was... More

We recently had lunch here with family and once again it was very good, it's a very relaxed atmosphere, with tables overlooking the sea. You can see the chef plating up which is fascinating, and the service was good and the waitress friendly. I had the goats cheese parfait, followed by the cod, and then the cheese cake. It was... We only had drinks but the food going past looked lovely! A great atmosphere in the bar nice log fire on a cold Wednesday in November was very welcome. Friendly bar staff made us feel very at home could have quite happily spent an enjoyable evening there.

I went down to this restaurant/ pub to entertain some brokers, it's beautiful inside, great selection of drinks behind the bar and very welcoming. The restaurant had a lovely selection of food and the staff were very friendly. The main let down for this place was the service, my friend was extremely allergic to mushrooms which we made clear that... More

Staying at the excellent Fisherman's (sic) Huts, The Pearson's Arms was a 4 minute walk, but was well down in the TA Whitstable ranking - so some hesitation. But a good pint and a glass of picpoul in the bar and a look at the menu - not so wide for a pre-cooked/frozen alert and not so narrow for a... More

We live in Folkestone, so Whitstable is a bit out of the way, but we had a Travelzoo voucher and had a trip out to celebrate paying off our mortgage! It was a lovely afternoon, and beautiful to sit by the window and look out over the sea. The food was excellent - I had scallops followed by the guinea... More

We were looking forward to a great lunch at Pearsons, but we were very disappointed, firstly with the service, after being told to wait while a table was found, which never happened as nobody came back so we waited half an hour still nobody spoke to us , so we complained and left. Will not be going back. The staff... More

Visited this restaurant last week on the first visit to Whitstable to stay with my cousin. Her brother joined us and treated us to a meal here. I had the fish and chips which was extremely enjoyable, and my cousins had the salmon dish. I had no dessert as I was full but they both had the chocolate mousse which... More

Eaten here many times and we always have a good time, the atmosphere is always good! The food is exceptional, specially the scotch egg and fish pie!! Lovely cocktails and a good selection of beers! On occasions the waitresses could cheer up but otherwise worth going!
