I often call in here for lunch when I am in Tonbridge, and really enjoy the fresh salads, soups and cakes. This time my husband and I had a lovely bowl of leek and potato soup, with a large chunk of brown bread and butter. Unfortunately there was no room left for one of the delicious looking cakes. The fact... More

Really nice independent little restaurant/cafe. Went for lunch with my daughter and wife as she loves it and I can see why. Lovely buzzing atmosphere with a good mix of people, great staff and excellent service. The food was really nice with a great choice of pies and quiches, the salads are also good. Will go back when we meet... More

I've eaten here 5 - 6 times over the last year or two, sometimes alone and sometimes with my partner. I really like the fact that they sell local Kent and Sussex produce, including fruit juices, cakes, pies, cheese, crisps and so on, and that this is the first thing you see as you enter the cafe. It seems part... More

This is a place I have visited regularly the staff are friendly, a good range of drinks, I choose a flat white, lovely but would recommend the others. There are also a good selection of cakes and pastries/healthy light lunch options, the décor is modern and relaxing. The only comment I have that is not positive is the wait/queuing for... More

First visit but very good impression of something chic but comfortable. The owners have created the right atmosphere and are providing something a little bit different. Good quality, and a wide range of, delicious wholesome and naughty foods.

Came in with my wife the other day for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by the tasty breakfast pancake containing bacon, mushrooms, sausage, tomato and cheese. Service was prompt despite the fact that it was very busy and tables were cleared efficiently. My only criticisms relate to the small tables (designed to cram 'em in) and the high noise level,... This is a really nice cafe with homemade treats and lots of local products. It is clean and friendly and always busy! Excellent place to go for a coffee and a catch up with a friend or to watch the world go by from one of the comfy chairs in the window!

Needing a quick lunch I tried this place. It was busy, but coping well. The food was good, with excellent soup and bread. The staff were friendly and keen to seen people enjoy what they were selling. A good addition to the High Street and a high quality alternative to the normal machine made fast food or anonymous coffee shops.
