gave our drinks order duly served by barman who informed me it was bottom of barrel cloudy I gave it 15 mins then rejected it. Excellent country pub/restaurant small but well chosen menu. Excellent presentation and cooking. Good choice of beers and inexpensive yet very good wines. The bar area is "cozy" but friendly as are the staff and landlord. All in all a good place to find and eat out.

The Rifleman manages to balance retaining a really nice pub atmosphere with a restaurant that serves nice food. The service is excellent and all of the staff and landlord are both friendly and welcoming. There is a cozy bar with lots more space and emphasis on actually being a pub than the local competition.
