Superb meal, one of the best i've had, every component was individually excellent and mouthwatering as a whole. Service could not be faulted.

We booked a table on Saturday night, it was a warm balmy evening, the garden was busy, we were in the restaurant. the service was pretty poor, lots of young staff, all preferring to be in the garden and not rely looking after us. the food was very average, £63 for two, with no alcohol. very expensive for what we... Lovely main courses although they did forget to bring the vegetables. Desserts not good at all but very nice friendly staff.

Went for a lunchtime visit. Lovely pub in pleasant surroundings. Friendly staff, good food. Good seating inside & plently outside for the nice weather. Good for families to visit

saw the website for this place, thought we'd give it a go,wish we hadn't!served by a very unwelcoming barmaid, coors light was foul, girlfriends wine was bitter and the overpriced food was dry and tasteless.another pub that 'bigs' itself up but doesn't deliver, and i'm quite easily pleased, nasty!

Went here for lunch today as it's always a safe bet! Lovely helpful staff as always:) I had a couple of starters as a main and they were both lovely. My boyfriend had the burger which he really enjoyed too. Nice relaxed atmosphere in there and good value for money!

We have visited a number of times and the standard of the food varies. Today was good on the whole, although my husbands plaice was very overcooked and mushy. The other four meals were good. The service was excellent, efficient and friendly.

Food The food is average, unfortunately my partners sweet potato's were slightly undercooked. But my fish and chips were really nice. Tasted fairly fresh. Unique dishes! Price A little bit expensive, but what to expect when your in the middle of no where. If I compare it to wetherspoons, the food doesn't match up. Service Amazing service, really friendly and... More

Great location, nice looking pub..... But that's where it ends. The food was poor and the ale was dreadful. The staff were bordering on rude and just unhelpful generally. The House actually expects you to PAY extra to sit in small sheds in the garden area ! Just another way to fleece customers for more money in an already overpriced (for... More

We stopped by today for a roast. The staff were pleasant enough but the roast potatoes were tough and that is a word that should never be applied to roast potatoes. The carrots were grey and the flavour disgusting. We mentioned it to the waitress and said that we were not saying it to get a discount. She did not... More
