We visited on a Wednesday night and whilst it was quiet at first, by the time we left it was getting quite busy. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Good value for money as well. We would return!

A much better experience this time we visited The Raj of Kent. On a previous occasion they were far too busy and had over stretched themselves resulting in a very long wait and a sub standard meal. Be warned Saturday nights are far too busy here. The food was very good. No surprises on the very safe menu, in fact... More

My husband and I visited here following a 10 year absence for my husband, though I myself have never visited. Quality of food is excellent and not floating in oil like in a lot of Bangladeshi restaurants. Spices used were original, however it seemed that they have not mastered the stuffed paratha which was lacking in taste. Nan bread was... More

Whilst having the standard indian menu there is also a wide choice and unusual dishes. High quality and fresh food whilst being good value. Recommend

The Raja of Kent is easily the finest in the area...there is great variety and some different dishes than those usually found on menus. Not the fastest service, but it is a large restaurant which can be busy, and I would rather eat at a leisurely pace than be rushed from one course to the next (often happens in restaurants).... More

I can honestly say I've never experienced such poor service in my whole life. A waiter who was clearly not interested or even listening to our order. Which then resulted in missed and late starters, twice!! then to top it off extra items added to the bill. Also the food warmer being placed on the table before the starter plates... More

This restaurant has some of the best Indian Food in the Country, the little Tandoori lamb chops are divine. I come back here every time I visit Kent, the take away is also very good. If you want excellent food with friendly service go here. If you want speedy or even quick service-don't. I love it so does my partner... More
