We took our two daughters here recently for their first Indian meal, they were both unsure but our waiter was fantastic fun, helping them to choose dishes, joking about and flourishing napkins etc. The restaurant was busy but we felt very cared for. Really enjoyed the meal, lots of choice and very good veggie selection. We plan to go again... More

The first time we visited we had a good meal, the second time we waited an hour and walked out after poppadoms only as the service was slow. The third time the service was slow and the food mediocre.

... good service, will come again. Food came fast, was very tasteful. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Portions big enough for us.

We are not surprised to see similar reviews on here as we had to wait for what felt like a lifetime for our takeaway food. normally we would not leave reviews but we're completey disappointed with their service. they advised it would take 15 mins and our food finally came out 1 hour later and when we merely quizzed them... Wonderful food, and a proper tikka masala not like some restaunts do. Service very good, apart from trying to attract someone to pay the bill. Good value, nice polite staff. Been twice now we will go again.

Sad to see some negative reviews, whenever we have eaten here it has always been a pleasant experience, both in terms of the quality of food, quality of service, value for money and choices on the menu, which include some local variations. Yes when they get busy things slow down slightly, but why hurry when there is good food, ambience... More

I am not normally the sort of person that gives bad reviews but we were so disappointed by our experience that it had to be done. We booked a table for four at 19:00. By 19:10 we had ordered our food and drink so thought we were off to a good start, especially as the restaurant was so busy. That's... More

We hadn't booked but was empty when we arrived. Were shown to a table and offered drinks. The service was efficient but very cold and unfriendly. The food on this occasion was good but nothing special. Used to be a favourite.

I simply do not understand the good reviews of this place. Shocking service, no atmosphere, poor food. Big curly hair in the rice too!

Very busy, no reservation yet a drink in the bar and I got a table. Lovely food. :), Cobra on draught on a hot sunny evening which made my meal superb.
