Excellent Indian in Kent!

The Raja is an excellent Indian near Biddenden in Kent. It's quite big and sometimes impersonal, but the food is fantastic. It's great to visit with a group of friends. We were there as a family quite early on a Saturday evening. It looks as though they have bands which looks fun. Good place!

We have three of four meals a year from the Raja and it never fails to disappoint. It's our nearest 'take away', but still a 20 min drive which can mean we have to do a touch of re heating when we get home, but that's our fault for living in the middle of no-where. I particularly enjoy the fact... More

A curry house in the middle of nowhere! Located about a mile outside on Tenterden Town this is worth visiting if in the area. We were there for a Tribute Night (Shola Kaye doing Motown, fantastic show if it's on again!) which they seem to have on a regular basis. Food and atmosphere were brilliant, staff were amazing, packed with... More

The entertainment was spot on. The couple worked hard but the food was terrible. Looked like slop tasted like slop. Staff tried to accommodate but still brought out slop. Go for the entertainment but not the food absolutely awfull

The food here is always good ! No complaints there .. The waiters are friendly & helpful, and if you're in a small party there should be no problems at all ... However if there are 12 of you be prepared to be shoe horned into a space meant for 10. Trying to eat when your elbows are clamped to... More

We visited the Raja of Kent for the first time recently, for their Jersey Boys and Showaddywaddy tribute night. The food was really good, and as it was a set menu we tried dishes we probably wouldn't have chosen. The waiters were helpful and attentive. Also, the carpark is really big which is a bonus. The entertainment was excellent and... More

We fancied and Indian meal and reserved a table at the Raja of Kent. When we arrived they gave us the best central table and looked after us exceedingly well. There were two of us and we ordered enough for a good meal with a doggie bag for lunch the next day.
