We have been to the Crispin Inn twice for the Sunday Roast when we happen to be in town. Good basic food, well done, and really nice atmosphere.

I booked for four of us to have Sunday lunch at this lovely, friendly and historic pub. First class home cooked roast, excellent service and a wonderful ambience. The whole place was buzzing with chat, everybody enjoying their meals and the happy atmosphere. Good a la carte menu with a fair variety of cooked meals and snacks. Fantastic value for... More

We were struggling for somewhere to eat on a Monday night in Sandwich and just as we had given up we found this lovely pub. Really friendly people especially lady who was doing the cooking. We had goat curry and. Jerk chicken. Although I found the taste of goat to be a bit strong, the meat was cooked well and... More

We had a pub lunch here in January. The pub is quaint inside and outside with hanging hops tankards etc. decorating the pub. We were impressed that one man was managing to serve drinks, take food orders and bring food to the table all by himself, which he did very well with little waiting for food. The portions were big... The Crispin is really not big enough to host Christmas parties. We were in a party of sixteen and placed in a tiny room on four separate tables with an odd assortment of dingy chairs and cheap plastic stick on window decorations and a cracker each on the table. The wine glasses with the Christmas serviette folded inside, were removed... More
