Great experience at Wimpy in Margate

Takes me back to my youth. Great value - excellent food, drinks and service. Welcoming staff. Proper crockery and cutlery. Good music too. Loved it.

A great old-fashioned alternative to the bigger, characterless burger chains. The very friendly waitress serves you at the table and you eat off actual plates and with metal cutlery. It was a delight. Disgracefully, the place was almost deserted, whereas the MacD in town was absolutely packed.

If you want a good burger then you cannot beat wimpy. The only annoyance if their seats are attached to the tables, and I am now too fat to fit in them :-)

Truly amazed by the quality of the food served at wimpy. The staff were delightful and we was welcomed in to open arms by the beautiful people there. I would like to give a special mention to the spectacular women who was working at the ice cream machine. Always served with a smile and had a beautuful voice. I would... More

Extremely please and full too the brim lol. Not a treat to have to often, however i have been good for a long time so no regrets.... More

Great food after all these years! Memories of going there as a young'un were always good and nothing has changed. Bit expensive but great fresh food. And still snigger at the bender in a bun

Called in today for a quick lunch. Service was excellent. The food was served quickly, accurately and above all politely. When we sat down the air conditioning was too cold. We mentioned this to our waitress and almost immediately someone came along and turned it off. We didn't have a sweet-only because we were tight for time. Even my wife,... More

Always liked the Wimpy as a teenager, and is still a better option than MacDonalds. Wimpy food is cooked to order, and the service here was very good.

very lovely lady served me a Mr whippy style ice cream through the hatch. She was friendly and not too pushy.
