Disappointing

We went there after it being recommended to us. My Partner had a full English which was excellent but I had buck rabbit. I could honestly not tell it had cheese on the toast which was burnt round the edges. It was so cold in there I kept my coat on. It was extremely expensive for a cafe with... read more

We came for the second week in a row for a late breakfast/brunch thus time we bought the kids after their swimming lesson. The food was lovely again, we had the full English last week. This week I had smoked mackerel with bubble and poached egg, my husband had gypsy eggs, chorizo, butter beans and tomato with a baked egg,... More

Tucked away from the main town and seafront is a gem of a café. It was worth the 25min stroll in the bracing January wind to visit this lovely eatery. The staff are switched on, like the free WiFi, the menu gave us lots of choice and the food and drinks were excellently presented with good quality ingredients prepared fresh... More

A lovely little place opposite the Turner Contemporary, serving lovely breakfasts and drinks in an arty understated ambience with friendly staff It feels nice in here! And my only beef is that during our five day stay from 1-6th Jan we only caught it open once!

I came here a few weeks ago, all four of us had the veggie full breakfast which was the best veggie breakfast I've had in my life, homemade glamorgan sausages are amazing. quality ingredients are used and it is evident in the taste. The staff are all extremely attractive and helpful. It was like having breakfast with old friends. 10/10... More

An absolutely gem of a cafe by the seaside in Margate. I went for a late breakfast and was impressed by the menu - a great range of choices and very reasonably priced. I ordered the eggs florentine and it was perfection. Delicious food, welcoming atmosphere & friendly staff. Our waitress Harriet was excellent. A wonderful experience - I highly... More

Lovely milkshakes, delicious food, gorgeous homemade ice cream... such a gem! I've only been when it's a bit quiet but would love to go to one of their evening events.

Fort's has to be one of the best places for breakfast or lunch in Margate. Whilst the location isn't the best part of town, the views from the outside tables are great and the food is amazing. From the simple bacon roll to a fantastic burger, you won't be disappointed here.

Loved it here, the food was really delicious, well prepared and locally sourced; they have really interesting options on the menu, and it has a great atmosphere - a bit like a greasy spoon caff but with vintage furniture, formica tables, good music playing, and a mixed clientele - the hipsters and young families mingle with the old men who've...
