Lovely milkshakes, delicious food, gorgeous homemade ice cream... such a gem! I've only been when it's a bit quiet but would love to go to one of their evening events.

Fort's has to be one of the best places for breakfast or lunch in Margate. Whilst the location isn't the best part of town, the views from the outside tables are great and the food is amazing. From the simple bacon roll to a fantastic burger, you won't be disappointed here.

Loved it here, the food was really delicious, well prepared and locally sourced; they have really interesting options on the menu, and it has a great atmosphere - a bit like a greasy spoon caff but with vintage furniture, formica tables, good music playing, and a mixed clientele - the hipsters and young families mingle with the old men who've... I know this sounds an extraordinary claim ...one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant, but my full veggie breakfast really was superb. The homemade Glamorgan sausage was scrumptious, egg done just to my liking, the bubble crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, vine tomatoes cooked just to bursting all served with mushroom, baked... This is exactly the sort of local cafe that every neighbourhood needs. Good locally sourced food that is imaginatively cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and helpful too. We were there for lunch and loved the selection available, all of which sounded great. Locally smoked mackerel with bubble & squeak & roasted cherry tomatoes was delicious, as were the... More

I doubt I would of ventured into this delightful café any time soon had it not been for my daughter insisting on how 'great' it was.. on arrival I saw a retro style café with books hanging on the walls..and apparently theres a vinyl night.. take your own records.. I liked it already.. the menu was simple but quaint.. rose... More
