I cannot praise this little cafe highly enough. Fresh food prepared in front of you, the taste is fantastic! The host is funny, all the staff are helpful, and tasty authentic food. BYO drink and no corkage fee. Five stars from me.

Top end of the High Street, but don,t let that dissuade you from this unimposing cafe. With a bright cheerful appearance the Staff and owners offer a friendly genuine welcome. Good Thai menu with great selection of authentic dishes. All food freshly prepared and amongst the best Thai food to be had outside Thailand. Great value highly recommended. Will be... More

I can't praise this place enough. Finally the wife and I got a table here and we loved every second of it. The staff are very friendly, the owner very funny and charming and the food was absolutely out of this world. I've eaten in some nice places but this blows most of them away. If you don't like this... More

Everything was awesome! Authentic Thai food (best we've had in the UK & comparable to Phuket!), cooked fresh and served by wonderful people. Unbeatable prices. BYO alcohol (zero corkage fees & an off-licence across the road). In terms of food and service, Yama's is currently our favourite dining experience of 2014.

We had been recommended here for its small friendly and freshly cooked food. Looks just like a high street cafe - but has a difference. Was very impressed with the relaxed nature of the evening ideal for a chilled out family evening. Reasonably priced, tasty food and fun. We had a good time.

You can BYO booze from the offie 20m away. Courteous and helpful service. I would love to come here for lunch every day --but I live in Bat!

I can't rate this place highly enough, the food is amazing. Freshly cooked in front of you, so many choices and terry, the owner, is the nicest person I have ever met. Genuine, kind and a great host. It's very reasonably priced, take your own alcohol, don't be put off that it's a cafe setting, it's the food and experience... More

Really glad we sought Yama's out after checking TA. The high scores are deserved. A really lovely lady at the counter greeted us with a big smile and so it continued until we left with a warm goodbye. Delicious food, very well priced. Highly recommended.

This is THE BEST Thai restaurant in Thanet. The food is cooked by a very hard working chap, 1 meal at a time on 1 wok. He works at amazing speed to deliver the most authentic and tantalising flavoured food. You can watch the food being cooked as the kitchen area sits at the back of this modest cafe. We... More
