Great value

Very friendly atmosphere. Delicious food cooked in front of us with plenty of veg. available. Service is really helpful. Good value and we took our own wine. Only downside, can be draughty in the winter! Been several times.

We are MASSIVE fans of Yama's and have eaten at the Margate restaurant/café many times. We were over the moon when we saw that they had a stall in Margate's Dreamland and were ordering some food within half an hour of arriving. However, we were so disappointed. We ordered the vegetarian option of tofu and stir fried veg and it... More

We booked a table for 8pm Thursday evening and were told on arrival that they had no evidence for this. We really struggled that late to findsomewhere else to eat again disappointing. Come on Margate

It does not look like the best restaurant in town from the outside-more a cafe. But it is all about the food... it was the best Thai we have ever had. Amazingly tasty and well priced. Better than the Blue Elephant in London. Try it out. It is closed 3-5pm so avoid disappointments and note that. Parking is no problem... More

Met up with old friends and wasn't impressed with the first impression. Looked like a cafe rather than a restaurant. Ordered our meal and was blown away. Don't judge a book by its cover. While they didn't have a liquor license you are welcome to bring your own wine or beer. The food was so good the surrounds and drink... More

Went with two friends that had previously had some very nice take-aways. Three of us were going to order prawn based meals but they had run out (8pm) so we settled on duck Thai dishes with assorted veg and rice. The food was very tasty and spiced as we had requested. The food was cooked in an open kitchen which... More

Excellent chief, amazing food. Hidden gem. basic cafe interior but first class food. if you like Asian food, this is a must. You can choose whether to have your dish served mild, medium or hot.
