Highest Curry !

Food in this Everest is reliably good. Freshly prepared and which a choice of Nepalese dishes it is one of the best in the area. Eat in or Take Away the food we have had has been yum, no over use of salt, not bad for veggies too !

Had not had a curry in a loooong time so once we reached Hythe (travelled from Germany) we skipped fish and chips and headed for the curry house which had been recommended from the hotel and barbers. Faultless, the service was attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced.

I usually pick out Italian restaurants, and eat our curries at home. Hythe doesn't appear to have many good eateries so we took a chance on the Everest Inn. What a good choice. The main dining area was a little dark, but the food was top drawer. We played it safe with something mild. The ingredients seemed fresh and high quality... More

The best Indian/Nepali restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is great and the staff so polite and friendly I would recommend this place to anyone

This is one of the best curry houses around. Excellently presented, big portions and superb service. All freshly cooked even the poppadoms, nothing is heated up and the presentation was like a posh London restaurant. Takeaways are just as good and no frozen chick used either. I am fussy about my curries but would not hesitate in recommending this to... More

We have eaten here many times and can only recommend the Everest yet again. It is often open in the afternoons and you are always welcomed even when arriving at inconvenient times. The dining rooms are spotlessly clean and the service is professional. The two-course meals at £10.95 represent excellent value and are freshly cooked. We began with an oddity:... More

Okay the grumps first. Maybe it's a little pricey. The English waiter was a little dismissive when we only ordered tap water, little tip don't make us feel like second class citizens because we won't have your over priced plonk. Positive lovely setting. Efficient service nice staff. The food was absolutely wonderful. Best popadoms ever so crispy. Loved my dishes... More

The only criticism I have for here was that it took them a little while to come and take our order but the food was well worth the visit. I had the momo dumplings for starter, then mix and matched with a Nepalese lamb mint dish, sag aloo and a naan. Altogether this came at under £20, and was literally... More

If you are a fan of Indian food you will not be disappointed. Lovely food. Eat in, or take away (of which they will deduct 20% off the price). Good value. We tend to have one per week - that should tell you enough.

We've eaten at the Everest Inns on a number of occasions and they never fail to deliver a fantastic meal.. We live in a village outside of Ashford so that had been our restaurant of choice. By sheer luck we came upon the Hythe restaurant last year and now regularly drive there as not only the food of the same... More
