We have eaten here a number of times. The food is always fresh, interesting and in large amounts. It is one of the best Italian restaurants we have eaten in and a lot better than some in Italy. The atmosphere is cosy and for a quiet meal with your better half, it can not be beaten. It is also great... More

Visited for Sunday lunch. Nice welcome and nice selection of bread and olives bought over. Tagliatelle with meatballs were delicious and chicken terracotta very tasty. All ingredients were fresh and flavours were really lovely. The house wine was not good and my choice of wine wasn't sold by the glass. I would have liked to have been offered a taste... More

Really good food and generous portions. Owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere. I'm a visitor in Hythe but Terracotta would be my regular place if I lived here.

No wine list offered. Ordered a bottle of chianti to find it was £33! It was the 2nd cheapest !!!! Lamb dish which cost £18 was two of the smallest lamb chops I've ever seen. Venison was covered in a sickly white cream sauce. Overpriced, no atmosphere, avoid.

Myself and my husband came here one Saturday night for his birthday meal. Neither had been before it was purely based upon trip advisor reviews so I was slightly worried how it would be, i needn't have been though, it was brilliant. We had a table near to the kitchen, which was fairly private. Starters were amazing!! It was rather... More

This restaurant cooks the most lovely food. It makes a change to go somewhere in England where you get fresh food. The owner certainly knows how to run a decent restaurant. We had the veal and the chicken with extra side of the courgette fully recommended.

The food was excellent and very well presented. My wife and I went with our two boys, one of which is very picky. All of us had very different dishes, all of which were to the same high standard which is a testament to the skill of the chef. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful, without... After eating in this restaurant which was a former pub I was surprised at the quality of the food and the presentation which was very good. The menu has pizzas which were not available and presume this is because a weekday. Due to the lack of Italian cuisine in Hythe I would have thought they could have done well with... More

Had the best Italian meal out here a couple of weekends ago since we were in Florence last year. The food was homemade and delicious with wonderful flavours. We are a family of five and were made to feel very welcome. Service was great too. You must visit here if you decide to eat out in Hythe. Great value for... More
