At last! A real pie n mash shop

Frasiers was recommended and the first time we tried it was about to close (4pm). Tried again 2 days later and finally got to eat traditional English pie with mashed potato and liquor. Proper Pie & Mash shop. Not many to be found outside of London, so to have one in the town where I live is a real bonus. Decent grub, particularly the pies, washed down with a cup of tea.

Have been there several times and this week took a couple of old aunts with us for lunch. As proper Eastenders, if it passed their taste test - well it would be praise indeed. They both demolished double pie, mash and liquor - say no more, looks like they will be with us on a regular basis in future.Lovely people in there. Spotlessly... More

We have been using this shop since it opened, today was the worst we have ever known. The mash was 60% uncooked lumps. When we mentioned it we was fobbed off with ' it's a new brand of potato ' pies were Ok I am hoping it is a one off, we will probably go back eventually just to see.... More

The quality of the pie ,mash and liquor was very good and the restaurant was nice and clean in a great location. The only problem we had was the wait time for the food. Service was excellent.

Have been to Frasiers on many occasions and always enjoyed it, but what have they done, has someone else taken over the cooking it was disgusting My friends who also go there have agreed so won't be going there again, my daughter spent £29 pounds in there as she ordered some to take away and with 2 children who had... I have been going there since it opened but after today I wont be going back. Although we were the only people waiting for food it took quite a while for it to be dished up -and oh what a disappointment. The pies were only luke warm and the mash had a very strange taste to it. I'm not convinced... More

I hadn't visited for some time since it has been taken over. Well.... What can I say... Waited a long time for it to arrive...fair enough but when it came, pies lukewarm with meat inside tasteless, pastry ok. The mashed potato , this was more like sloppy Smash, not real potato at all. Liquor was thin and tasteless. The place... More

Nice to have proper pie and mash outside london. Double pie mash and liquer for me. Kids enjoyed theirs too. Nice mug of tea and friendly welcome. Went at 12.30 pm on a Friday and was lucky to get a booth. Popular with people who know their pies. Great recipe, just pastry and mince and salt. No gravy in the... More

I always go here for double pie and mash when I go to The Kavanagh cinema in Herne Bay. No frills honest pie and mash with liqueur, white pepper and chilli vinegar can't beat it !
