My friend and I visited Frasiers a couple of weeks ago. We are both "old Londoners" and have sampled various pie and mash shops over our years (he 69 and me 65). we had occasion to visit an established P&M in Peckham S/E london several weeks ago and were pleased that the tradition and taste had remained, and we enjoyed... I had heard about pie and mash on various English telly programmes for years. While visiting friends in Blean, I ask my partner to take me to see what all the fuss is about. They took me to Frasiers to try it out. We had the whole shabang of pie and mash with liquor (sauce made from the liquid of... More

Standard pie and mash which is something I often travel miles to get. Still have the hot vinegar with chillies in (we used to call them shrimps in the old days for some reason?) which doesn't seem to be available in all the pie 'n mash shops any more. Decent sized portions done properly.

I already reviewed this shop back in March and have just paid a further visit together with my partner. There isn't a lot I can add to my previous comments, it really is exceptionally good and this is coming from an ex Eastender who has lived in the bay for 28 years. I have always been craving for a decent... More

True pie and mash we can now have decent pie and mash without going all the way back up to London. Would recommend trying it even if you're not a Londoner.

I have lived in the area for some years but am a born Londoner through and through so know what I'm talking about when it comes to pie and mash. My partner and myself visited this shop a couple of years ago and weren't that impressed but I found out by chance that it was now under new ownership so... More
