Just had the most delicious lunch. Everything about The Prince of Wales was superb. It's what I call a real pub - warm and friendly. Could quite easily have stayed all day. My Mum had been a couple of times and had highly recommended it. She was'nt wrong. Will definitely go again when we next... read more

Four of us ate last night in the Prince of Wales. The food was wonderful and the waiter went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable evening, thank you. Would recommend this Public House to everyone.

My husband and two daughters had dinner here 20 January to celebrate three of our birthdays. We had another lovely meal, as we always do when we come here. The menu always has my favorite lamb dish on it thank goodness as it is delicious, and this time we struggled to finish our puds as we were so full. Definitely... More

I along with 3 other family members visited the Prince of Wales on the 16th February for Sunday lunch, I had the fillet steak which was cooked to absolute perfection, the others had roast beef, which they all said was beautiful, especially the home made Yorkshire puds! The service was also very good. I would defintely recommend this pub to... More

Was at the restaurant on 15th Feb with my girlfriend and mother for Sunday lunch and had been to the PoW many times in the past and had high expectations. Food quality was poor, lamb was fatty and full of grisle; banoffee pie was half a banana with caramel sauce and a mountain of squirty cream out of an aerosol... More

Hi David, We enjoy reading responses on Trip Advisor good or bad, however it's very disappointing and upsetting when we have to come on here and defend ourselves against some very untrue statements like your review. Luckily for us this kind of incident is very rare. We take our complaints very seriously we are always keen to rectify any situation... More

I have eaten many times in the POW and on each occasion have really enjoyed it. The food is delicious and the service superb. Very pleasant ambiance and nice to retreat to the bar lounge area to finish off with coffee. All in all a tasty experience. Well done to the management staff and of course the chef. Will be... More

the food is very good a little over priced as it is a pup not a top restaurant and it can get a bit busy which means you are shoulder to shoulder with someone at the next table but the food is good

We went to The Prince Charles for Sunday dinner after choosing a random place to eat. I had the rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection and the pineapple topped cheese cake for dessert which was also tasty. I would recommend this place and I will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes during the week.... More

We booked at this restaurant and as advised had a table at 12.30 there were 5 of us. 2 of us had roast lamb which was very tough and looked as though it had been boiled and anaemic, the roast potatoes were soft and Yorkshire puddings burnt. The other 2 had pork which was similar. The other person had fish... More
