My wife and i visited this pub for our anniversary meal. it was a early tuesday evening but we stayed there for a good couple of hours with no pressure although the restaurant started to get busy.We came to this pub for a couple of reasons, for one it was en route to where we was heading afterwards but also... The food was very basic: Two egg and chips for lunch or tin soup in the evening. All the staff were Eastern Europeans who would speak English

I believe this review is a complete case of mistaken identity: We do not sell 'Two Egg and chips for Lunch', Please see our online menu: http://www.princeofwaleshoath.co.uk/lunch-menu/. We have 3 full time chefs who make the soup fresh every day. All our staff are locally employed, NONE of which are Eastern European, not that we have any issue with employing... More

Unfortunately this lovely pub was spoiled by very bad service. We only went for drinks and we had to wait for 15 min as there was no one in the bar attending. When we finally were served, the table that we chose was very dirty with glases and plates so we had to ask the girl to clear it up... More

We visited the pub by recommendation, We were quite disappointed with the Sunday roast and quality of service received. The meat was wafer thin and it had a lot of fat on it. Over all the meal lacked flavour. Never once throughout the meal did any member of staff ask us if everything was ok with our food!

Lovely pub, nice food, great garden. Just had Sunday lunch there. Will go back - a very pleasant afternoon spent with friends. What more could you ask for?

We chose the Prince of Wales to have our retirement party as we felt it was the perfect venue to celebrate with our family and friends. The party started around 4 pm and we all tucked into hog roast, salad and roast potatoes which was absolute fabulous. Marc Carol and all their team did us proud and everyone had a... More

Four of us went today and had a great lunch time meal. The fillet steak was great as was the prawn starter and the lemon tart to finish. The service was as good as always. The restaurant was bussing. It always seems to be very busy and the staff are fantastic. One of very best eating houses.

This pub/restaurant is located in a quiet village outside Herne Bay. The ambience is perfect for a country pub, the food is very good and well presented. Width a visit.

my wife and I took the old MGBGT out for a drive to the North Kent coast and stumbled across this delightful pub by chance. How lucky we were. We hadn't booked but the staff were wonderful and settled us into a table with no fuss. Menu looked great and my wife went for the beer battered cod and chips.... More
