Went for an afternoon visit to faversham with some friends and thought how nice it would be to have a breakfast late morning in this establishment. Unfortunately this breakfast took well over 30 minutes to come out, I have been to weatherspoons in other locations and they took half the time. When they did appear the breakfast was missing the... Great Frood and service at a reasonable price. has a great location at the top of the high steet what i liked about it the restaurant section is seperate from the bar section which makes you feel you are in a restaurant and not a pub one of the best weatherspoons ive been to.

Perhaps because of my age, a traditional breakfast has lost some appeal which lead me to opt for the Eggs Royale. A relatively new experience with which I was not to be disappointed. I am not sure how it compares with that of other caterers, but I certainly could not fault it.

Thank you for your feedback. We think the eggs royale is a fantastic addition to our menu and a great alternative to the traditional breakfast! We hope to see you again soon More

We are regular customers to the Leading Light. Today I stood at the bar and waited and waited and waited to order two meals and drinks -after being ignored and other customers who were at the bar waiting were served before me, I tried to order a curry special for both my husband and myself which was on a list... This appears to be one of the few spoons which actually has toilets at street level (also disabled). Tried a couple of the new menu items, it must be said that there are only a few, had eggs royalle, which was cooked properly and served hot, at the expense of cold coffee which i saved whilst waiting for my food!

The food was typical of most Weatherspoons. We had the Indian meal on Thursday evening which was tasty and a decent amount served. The food service was very good.I can not say the same about the service at the bar, with at least a 10 min wait for my drinks order to be taken.I saw at least one party leave without ordering anything... This place in the day serves the same purpose as many Wetherspoons' pubs. A meeting-place for the elderly, lonely, mentally ill and unemployed. It can be depressing if you are not depressed yourself. The big benefit of Wetherspoons applies. Very cheap food that is almost edible, some reasonably good real ales and comfortable seating. Add to that the spacious and... More

On a recent trip to Faversham we decided to have an early lunch and whilst walking about came across this old cinema which has been turned into a nice Wheatherspoons pub. Service good and breakfast roles and teas were good value.

Hello, glad you enjoyed your visit to the Leading Light. Many of our customers think the building was once a cinema but you may be surprised to hear it was a Co-op furniture store previous to Wetherspoons taking it on. Next time you pop in take note of the blue tiles on the left as you walk in as they... More
