Apart from the usual Chicken Korma and Tikka Massala there are now a few new different types of curry including a hot hot hot spicy curry and a delicious chick pea spinach and sweet potato in a coconut sauce. All the curries are served with a yellow basmati rice a couple of poppadums and a naan bread with mango chutney.... More

Sirloin steak, excellent chips, peas, tomato and mushroom - plus a pint from a good selection - all for £5.99. Competent if not over friendly service. Served in reasonable time. Great value for a quick meal before heading back to hotel to watch England's football efforts!

Really nice wetherspoons, clean well cared for, with friendly staff. Food has always been spot on and beer as with all wetherspoons we have been to - cheap but great, with a wide a varied choice. Value for money and would definitly recommend Tuesday steak nights. We followed someone elses recommendation and would happily take friends and family.

I was one of eight who had lunch a Wetherspoons The Leading Light in Faversham on Sunday 6 January. I had roast pork and crumble. The food was a good sized portion but not too much on the plate. Cooked to perfection. Some pubs charging double would not have bettered it! All 8 of us were equally impressed and the... More

It's been a while since we had been to the Leading light and after reading about all the shouting foul language and fighting, we were unsure about popping in for luch on Sunday. We were amazed how quiet the place was = actually quite civilised At under £6 for roast and drink and under £2 for deserts great value too.... More

This is one of our favourite places to eat, On Saturdays when the town market is on we pop in for the burger and drink deal at £3.99 I don't know how they do it so cheap! I usually have the butterfly breast of chicken burger chips and salsa dip with a gin & tonic, I don't think I could... More

Hang out all day with the spending unemployed and the lonely elderly. It's a sobering experience. Why are these places, especially in towns where people are not flush with cash, so popular though? Quite simple: 1. The Premier Inn, chain hotel syndrome - you know what you're going to get. They're the same everywhere. 2. Low quality food at low... More

Not as dark as evening visits: However,on my several recent visits have noted a new form of entertainment:VIOLENCE. 1/. Two males fighting 2/ Smashed windows & 3/ Girl fighting:Shouting " I'll ave her" Pity as the beer is good.
