More than just an ice cream parlour

It's like stepping back in time when you enter here. 50's style decor...very busy venue but enough staff to prevent the waiting time from being too much. My only criticism would be that the staff need to slow down slightly when taking the orders. We asked for NO wafer in my ice cream due to... read more

Love that this place just doesn't seem to change - great cuppa tea and bacon butties! It's like being in a wonderful timewarp.

Visited on a wet n windy Sunday afternoon. We ordered hot chocolate with cream and slices of cake. The hot chocolate was delicious and the coconut cake is to die for can highly recommend both.

Just like you image a nice cream parlour of the 50's to look like. Best thing is this decor exterior and interior is the real "Deal" and is all original. Great ambience and good sundaes. Only slight disappointment was that they don't make their own ice cream. Don't get me wrong the ice cream is totally acceptible carte d'or. Just... More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon.Chose to sit inside - there were 7 of us and we ordered a mixture of various ice-creams and drinks. The ice creams were delicious and well presented in retro dishes with teddy bear wafers which the kids loved. The only downside was the state of the toilets which were in need of a really good... The Deal beach parlour seems to have been there for ever, the decor takes you back to the 50s and 60s, lots of formica and mirrors, selling all the usual things a cafe sells. A lovely view out over Deal beach and the pier. A must for buying an ice-cream from the window without going inside or going in and... More

Fantastic service and such a wide choice of ice creams! Kids love it here as do us grown ups! Can't visit Deal without going to the Beach Parlour!
