This hasn't changed very much since my husband visited there one summer when he was a child. It doesn't have a proper coffee machine, but you can get an old fashioned knickerbocker glory. The cakes are home made and looked delicious.

For some Deal residents this place has always been where to take the kids for a treat for their weekly knickerblocker glory. In more modern times it is somewhere to sit and look out over the pier and have a range of homespun food but ice cream and long hot chocolate seems to be the main items being sold in... More

This is a very quaint and old-fashioned beach parlour. A good time to be had by young and old. I went this weekend with my niece, she had a banana split. I had the warm chocolate waffles and ice cream OMG yum yum. The services is very friendly and can be a little slow when busy. Very good value for... More

Ice cream was very runny. Waitress couldn't care less. Talking to other waitresses while serving customers.

This is something out of the TV series Life on Mars. You step straight into the 70ies when you walk in. I had a Knickerbocker Glory and it was fantastic. I also found out where plain vanilla comes from. A must see/go.

Plenty of potential in a central seafront posistion. Just sampled a ice cream of the the Mr Whippy variety , very watery and tasteless. Has so much scope for a true ice cream parlour of the retro kind , the place is tired and sad , could do with a major overhaul.

An ice cream cafe - just how it used to be - good food - honest service - reasonable prices - and what a view!

Great place for a breakfast. Views over the seafront and pier. It's very popular so if you manage to get a table, there might be a delay. However, the staff usually let you know what the delay might be so it's your choice. We are local and have never had a poor breakfast.

Visited during a short break near Deal. It doesn't look great from the outside and not sure if it's intentional or not but the interior decor isn't great. Certainly clean but dog-eared menus were a bit off-putting. Can set aside any of these minor gripes once tasted the ice cream sundaes. Absolutely lovely. indulgent & reasonably priced. Staff were friendly... More
