I do not rate many places as excellent, but this ticks all the boxes. Food was superb and very imaginative and the service impeccable.

We moved to Deal just three weeks ago and were attracted by the novelty of this restaurant/club. We made our first booking for a 'Spanish Holiday'. The greeting was great, (as usual in Deal), the room delightful. Service was attentive, very competent and sweet. The food was very imaginative, beautifully cooked and presented. Value for money is extraordinary. We loved... More

We have eaten at the Dining Club many times and have yet to be disappointed. Such high quality at such a low price is amazing - five courses for under £30. The menus are well thought out and varied. Scott has a particularly good touch with soup but he shows his skill and imagination throughout the meal. The recent 'Good... More

Just returned from a last minute booked dinner at The Dining Club - Asparagus menu. What a fantastic meal. Beautifully cooked food with superbly balanced flavours, it is incredible to get this standard of food in such tasteful surroundings for under £30 on a Friday night. And all of these 5 courses were delightful; asparagus being at the centre of... More

The Dining Club is a huge asset in Deal. Scott is an imaginative chef with a real eye for interesting combinations of cuisines and flavours. The five course dinners are extraordinary value for money given the quality and variety of the experience. Our last of many visits over the whole time Scott has been in charge was one of the... More

I have been using the restaurant for over 5 years now, since I moved to Deal. The owner makes a special point of welcoming my partner and I + friends, who often join us. The food is is a very good standard and excellent value for money.

You can't go wrong: £5 annual membership, approx £25 for a 5-course themed, set meal and £1 per head corkage. If you like good wine and hate paying the exorbitant mark-up in most restaurants, the Dining Club is the place to go. The current owners have now been in charge for a couple of years. Andy & Ralph were great, real... More

This was our first visit to the Dining Club and it will not be our last. Interesting starter- fig roasted with balsamic - good roast lamb and different but nice vegetables. Cheese avant - excellent all Kentish and then pudding - the only slightly disappointing bit - no cherry custard and therefore a bit dry. But we will return.

Been here many times and the standard of food and service is always exceptional. This time the theme was South Africa and each of the five courses was great. Suffice to say we have booked again for next weekend.
